Yes the room is small.  We are family of 3 and so when we book, we have to book 3 people - 3 beds (my kid is 10 years old).  We have 3 beds, lucky that we can push 2 beds together and only sleep on 2 beds, the third one can use to put stuffs, otherwise there's no space to open luggage beside near the front door.  Which will block the bathroom as well.

However, for our overall experience we still like it since it's convenience for us and they have free drinks (wine, beer, pop, juice, tea), ice cream and ramen.  Of cause only during certain hours, but good enough for us.  They also have massage chair at the lobby which is a plus to us! We DO need it! We are lucky enough to use it in the morning for a few minutes before we go out, and at night when we back to the hotel.

A wonderful hotel! We were four siblings who reserved via booking dot com. Everyone had their own bed, though the room and bathroom was maybe a bit small (not a huge problem for us). The free ice cream, drinks, and ramen were a nice touch when we wanted a little snack. Very easy to get anywhere from the hotel. Their English was great too.

Fantastic place to stay, very budget friendly. Breakfast is really good. Free alcohol and ramen in the evenings, free soft drinks and ice cream during the day. Laundry facilities are pretty good overall, though the room can get hot. Activities available in the evenings, rooftop terrace on 12th floor is nice.

So we booked two rooms for a recent trip to Japan on the basis of all the fantastic reviews - got there to find out that it is nothing like it seems online and the positive reviews are essentially bought from travellers by offering a discounted price if evidence of a positive review is shown at check in - quite an underhanded practice that people need to be aware of. Room was tidy, but very small, bathroom was just weird and the communal breakfast room had a strong odour of something quite offputting.

We stayed in a room with 2 double beds. The beds were comfortable and enough to sleep 2 adults and a kid. However, there wasn't much space to let us open our luggages on the floor. We had to move the dressing table chair away to make some space to be able to open the luggage partially.
There were free flow drinks, ice cream and ramen at certain times. In the middle of my stay, they changed the hot drinks machine to a new fancier one with more coffee choices, but unfortunately there were no more non caffienated choices like cocoa for non coffee drinkers.
