The anniversary menu showcased creativity, and the overall dining experience was exceptional. However, two issues left me disappointed:

1. Upon receiving the bill, I noticed an additional charge for a cheese plate. When offered the cheese, there was no indication that it was not included in the set menu, nor was the extra cost communicated at the time of ordering. The waitress lacked an apology and insinuated that my request was UNUSUAL, which was unsettling.

I highly suggest the waitresses get a little bit knowledge of the law - if an offer is given without a price, customers are not obligated to pay unless they agree on a price and accept the offer!

2. Furthermore, a single glass of wine was mistakenly billed at the price of a full bottle. Unfortunately, no steps were taken to rectify the error or offer any form of service recovery.

WELL WORTH THE ONE STAR MICHELIN!
Warm and cozy interior, the right lighting and a lot of space to dine with privacy....exact. what you could expect from a Michelin star restaurant
Welcome was friendly and we were immediately seated at a table along one of the walls of the restaurant
We enjoyed the introduction of the menu for that evening by the head chef at our table, a nice touch
Amuses bouches, starters, in-betweens, mains and desserts had  exquisite taste and were beautifully presented (see images)
Service was attentive and informative with ingredients of all dishes explained one by one, further enhancing the experience
Definitely a venue where we will return and one highly recommended to those after a great culinary experience in a nice environment at great value for money....not always the case when dining in a one star Michelin restaurant

This is such an amazing restaurant! When you arrive you are genuinely welcomed with great friendliness in a way you feel immediately at home! The owner explains the menu and his signature dishes with great passion. Every single item on the menu is made with the best ingredients, some of which come from is own biological kitchen garden. Even the fresh sourdough bread is made with flour of the local windmill “De Hoop”. The brigade is young, full of passion and knowledge of the great dishes they serve. The sommeliers provide you with the best choice of wine to accompany your dishes, they even have a wine package that cater for those who still have to drive home! All in all a great restaurant when you want to experience Michelin star dining in a modern and relaxed setting!
