Hotel staff are excellent The onsite Italian restaurant is popular and quite good. The two biggest issues with staying at the Mansion is that there is no elevator and half the rooms are two flights up.  The other issue is there is a dance club behind the hotel and it gets started at 9-10pm most nights and closes in the early morning. My ear plugs helped but there is a vibration you can slightly feel in bed with the pounding bass. My advice, request a room on the first floor, facing the street.

Lovely place, felt at home and the glass of prosecco on arrival was a lovely touch. Perfect location although could hear the buzz of a night club all night, this was slightly annoying but wouldn't stop me from coming here again. The rest of the stay made up for the minor inconvenience of the local noise.

Great service and location but the room are just impractical. They built these rooms prioritizing aesthetic, not utility. The shower was very difficult to get into (a very high tub) and out of and had a plastic shower curtain fully around it that sticks to you as you shower. There is no upper hook for the shower head to hang on so you have to somehow fumble with holding it as you soap up (fighting the shower curtain as you do) or set it down multiple times throughout. Water gets everywhere - also creating a slipping hazard. It was SUCH an unpleasant experience.

The bed was also an insanely low platform bet with a soft mattress. If you’re not a spritely 20 years old this room set up will be uncomfortable. It was for me; especially for the price paid.

This is all to say nothing of the lack of elevators and what I found to be a subpar breakfast.  I would not stay here again and would not recommend it, despite the service being five stars.
