The food was good but by no means memorable.  We did really enjoy the street corn though! The atmosphere was typical gentrification-core: trendy mural, loud music, water served in a tequila bottle, a little overpriced.  Fun but trying too hard.  Nice ferns on the patio.  Server was friendly and down to earth.  I'm sure the sauce they serve with the churros comes directly from a tub but it's delicious.

Overrated tacos. The chorizo was quite spicy without any of the paprika heavy flavors you'd expect from chorizo.

Short ribs were good but was drenched in a sickeningly sweet sauce. It had the feel of something more Korean/Japanese short ribs than Mexican. But regardless, a good item.

I wouldn't come back here; there are way too many better places for a taco, but this was good for a date night.

Best restaurant for taco tuesdays!!! $39.99 for hard shell tacos for 2 people, and it’s the BEST! So many fresh ingredients to add to your taco and it’s a pretty good portion. It comes with 10 hard shell tacos and lots of toppings to build your own taco, and it’s only $20 per person, which is a pretty good deal, especially at a nice restaurant. The hard shell was crunchy and held up well, the beef was good, but my favourite part were the toppings. Super fresh tomato salsa and japalenos with a generous portion of guacamole! Highly recommend this place, on Tuesdays only though. The service was really slow, to get the food and to get the bill. It wasn’t crazy busy but took almost an hour to get our food. We had to ask them where our food was after 45 minutes and then maybe they rushed it.

I recently visited this restaurant and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, making it a great spot for casual dining. The ambiance had a lively yet relaxed vibe, with a nicely decorated interior that created a good setting for a night out. Additionally, the waitstaff was friendly and attentive, contributing to a pleasant overall experience.

However, the food itself left something to be desired. We ordered tacos, and while they were flavorful, the portion sizes didn’t match the prices. For what they charge, I anticipated a bit more substance.

To add to the disappointment, we also ordered sangria, but it was lacking in alcohol content. It tasted more like a fruit punch than a proper sangria, which was surprising considering this is typically a highlight drink at similar establishments.

Overall, while the service and atmosphere were commendable, the food and drinks did not quite justify the cost, leaving me with mixed feelings about recommending this place.
