This is officially my favorite hotel in Mexico City. The rooms are beautifully designed, with every detail thoughtfully perfected. The beds and pillows are incredibly comfortable—soft, cloud-like perfection. The breakfast service is exceptional, featuring delicious pastries from Rosetta. The service is truly outstanding (10/10), and we felt well cared for throughout our stay. The location is also unbeatable, allowing us to easily walk to the city’s best restaurants, bars, and shops. We will definitely be back!

Great location - walkable to so many good restaurants and nice shops in the area. Soundproofing was amazing, we are light sleepers and slept really well. Comfortable bed + good shower pressure. Service was amazing as well, nothing was too much trouble and everything was taken care of promptly. Loved the breakfast service as well. Definitely worth the price tag and a well deserved 5 stars.

We stayed at Colima 71 for four nights in February 2025. There are a lot of choices for accommodations in Mexico City across many neighborhoods but we will definitely come back to Colima 71.

Hotel: The hotel is very well designed and very well run. It is not a big hotel with all kinds of amenities but it has everything that counts for a great city stay. Our room had a kitchenette with a large fridge and a very nice balcony from which we could enjoy the city sounds and views.

Staff: The staff really made our visit a great one. We were celebrating double birthdays and each birthday was very thoughtfully recognized by the staff. I was contacted a few weeks before our visit and the staff helped make arrangements during our stay. During our stay, we were always greeted with smiling faces and we had access to them via WhatsApp at all times.

Neighborhood: We spent most of our free time roaming around the neighborhood.  It is full of good eats (ranging from Michelin starred restaurants to makeshift corner businesses) and interesting shops. Definitely a great place to see and feel the living city.

Overall, we had a great time and look forward to our next visit to Mexico City and our next stay at Colima 71.

In the most vibrant and hype neighborhood, Colima71 is your artsy home in the city. The staff is amazing and kind, always smiling and doing their best to make you happy. The breakfast is delicious, freshly prepared every morning. The rooms are elegantly decorated, and the bed so comfortable it will be hard to head back home.

Colima 71 Art Community Hotel has everything you expect in a boutique hotel. The rooms are thoughtfully and beautifully designed. The lobby and garden patio are filled with art. The breakfasts options are healthy, delicious and locally sourced. The location has everything from great street food to Michelin-starred restaurants, plus parks, art galleries, coffee shops, clothing boutiques and bars.  But the best feature is the staff. They are so friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to return!
