Perfect for LA Marathon Weekend!

I stayed at The Westin Bonaventure for the LA Marathon, and it was an incredible experience! The staff were welcoming, and the location felt safe and convenient for amenities and travel.

One of the highlights was the breathtaking view from the 34th floor—an unbeatable panorama of Los Angeles that added a special touch to the stay. The on-site gym was well-equipped, perfect for pre-race warm-ups and post-race recovery.

The breakfast options were extensive with hot and chilled options. I opted for seeds and fruits which were fresh and delicious.  As a vegan I was delighted there were 2 meals on the menu suitable for me. They were delicious and the portion sizes were decent.

The hotel also offered early breakfast, hydration stations, and a marathon shuttle that stopped just moments from the entrance.  After the race, the Heavenly Bed provided much-needed comfort. This hotel truly went above and beyond for runners. Highly recommend for marathoners or any LA visitors!

Staying here for a conference and absolutely loving it. The lobby is enormous and very beautiful. The rooms are comfortable and there’s very nice views. The elevators offer the best views from inside and are pretty cool to experience.

There are plenty of places to eat and to enjoy a coffee or an adult beverage. The bar in the lobby stays busy as does the brewery on the fourth floor.   The staff are attentive and professional.

This has been an awesome stay in a very nice hotel

One of the best lobbies I've ever seen.  The use of the circular waterbodies with the bar/coffee area in the middle is really neat.  Rooms were great and very quiet.  Would absolutely stay again.

Super disappointed, I thought I have a restful night sleep but the couple next to me where so loud I'm not sure if it was because I stayed in a room that had a door access but even if they were talking the insulation is terrible  . The heater in the room quit working and one of the lady's at the front was super rude to the group of lady's that I came with plus overcharged her card 900 when it was already prepaid and including deposits mine did not because I came later and the receptionist informed me that she heard about the situation and  my card for deposit wasn't needed because it was prepaid. Everyone else was really pleasant and the manager did say that the money would be refunded . Question is how do you take a 900 dollar deposit when it was 200? Then be rude about it and back you off with an attitude. The other staff was pleasant.
So as we left there were more complication food being charged to a room because someone gave the room number when ordering food . We disputed it . I'll tell you this place needs to get it together.

Hotel is in a great location but be prepared to spend a hefty price for a less than mediocre experience. The bellman and valet are the only two services I can report positive. Front desk is awful, rude, and treated me and my family like I was below them. Restaurants are understaffed, I’ve had to have maintenance to my room 3 times for issues that remain unresolved on my last night here, and the room is extremely small. Visited the kitchen store on the 3rd floor and asked the man working how much an item was only to have it ripped from my hands and yelled at “that’s not for sale!”. Not quite sure why it was on a shelf if it’s not available for purchase. I travel often and only stay at Westin Hotels. Will not be back to this one again.
