I recently stayed at Centara Villa, and unfortunately, my experience was marred by the behavior of the staff. From the moment I arrived, the service was disappointing. The front desk clerk was dismissive and seemed uninterested in assisting me, providing little information about the hotel’s amenities or answering basic questions.

During my stay, I encountered rude and unprofessional behavior from several staff members. At one point, I requested extra towels, and instead of being polite, the staff member seemed irritated and took an excessive amount of time to fulfill the request. On another occasion, a housekeeping staff member knocked on my door repeatedly, even though I had placed the “Do Not Disturb” sign outside.

It was especially troubling to witness the lack of courtesy towards other guests, with staff rolling their eyes when asked for help and ignoring requests altogether. I understand that hotel staff may have busy shifts, but professionalism and respect should always come first.

While the hotel itself had decent amenities, the poor behavior of the staff was a significant detractor from the overall experience. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, as good customer service is essential for any hospitality business. I would hesitate to recommend this hotel unless they address the issues with their staff’s attitude and training.

The hotel is very nice but unfortunately does not meet European standards. Nevertheless, it is in a beautiful beach location and the staff at the pool bar are really good. Especially Pamma and her team. You are doing a great job.

Our third time here and it’s as magical and charming as ever we stayed in villa 313 (pool villa)  amazing view. Great food and well priced , grilled seafood platter was exceptional and an amazing fire show on the beach.

However, what makes this place a really firm favourite is the incredibly friendly staff who go out of their way to ensure your stay is as perfect as possible. So for making our stay perfect again massive massive thanks to

Beautiful stunning place to stay…private secluded villas set in lush gardens….private beach and safe swimming. The staff all of whom really made our stay here so fabulous…..happy….smiling and wanting to assist with anything. The property is on a hillside with lots of steps however as a partially sighted gentleman who uses a white cane it was easily navigable and safe….we’re coming back !!!!!

Absolutely excellent hotel for our first visit to Koh Samui. Serene, peaceful and tranquil location away from the overwhelming mess that Bophut has become.

Kind, smiling, friendly and helpful staff in  all departments including specifically Game, Walak on front desk. The welcome and care throughout they gave us was super special.

Also wish to mention a high thanks to restaurant manager Anu and Puky on the food & beverage team, as well as the fantastic omelette chef who is so talented.

Incredible selection of food at breakfast inclusive of Thai foods (changing daily) western classics and delicious fresh fruit  and drinks. Dinner is absolutely phenomenal and good portions. They even have a happy hour segment too.

Spacious villas with very comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms with good shower.

3 wonderful beautiful swimming pools each with beautiful views.

Good value cooking classes on site as well as nightly specials such as the incredible Fire Show, or Thai Dancing.

A super luxe spa is on site offering all kinds of divine treatments.

Great location for beach as hotel has its own stunning section right at the foot of the final pool.

The hotel has a free daily shuttle to the nearest supermarket for snacks and other necessities as well as offering a good value shuttle into Lamai and further afield to Central (north KS) if you  are tired of haggling for taxis and songthaews.

The villas are built into the hills so the hotel has an array of steps by design to get you across the resort. They are doable as there are flat section breaks in between - so even for those slightly less mobile you can get about.
