Husband and wife team run this very good bistro in the heart of Cauvillon. Must make reservations. Limited but delicious menu. Big wine list. The owner/waitress takes her time to explain each dish and what wine goes with each plate. I had the soft  warm foi gras dish and the lamb. Very good English spoken. Outdoor seating available.

The food is amazing! What a hidden gem! The 2 little welcome bites - were nice touches. The service was impeccable. I had the vegetables with goat cream cheese as starter and the pigeon as main course - simply delightful. The dessert was panna cotta. The Michelin star is well deserved. A warm welcome, polished, professional service, excellent wine list and exceptional food. We feasted on an amuse of tuna tataki, salade d’haricots verts with tomato confit, and duck sausage (I could have easily had an entire dinner of this salad), and monkfish with rice from the Carmargue in an exquisite reduction. If you are in Cavaillon you have to dine at L’Envol. In fact, it is well-worth a substantial detour!

This is a delightful little restaurant tucked away on one of the many picturesque and narrow little streets found in Old Cavaillon.
My wife and I ordered the daily lunch special for a very reasonable 16 Euros which included slow cooked boneless pork ribs with a side of polenta and zucchini.
The pork was exceptionally tender and was accompanied by a brown sauce which I am sure was made with the pan drippings and was also very delicious.
My wife enjoyed her aperitif de la maison and I the house rose wine which were excellent. The included dessert was a deconstructed tarte tatin with salted caramel ice cream which was very creative and tasty. For the price which included the plat and dessert we felt it was very reasonable especially for the quality of food and service found at this wonderful restaurant. We will be returning and suggest you consider this fine establishment.
