We visited during the busy lunch hour, and the place was completely packed and quite loud. The food was underwhelming, offering more of a “foreign version” of Japanese cuisine rather than something authentic.

The nigiri and sushi are solid, but came at a ridiculously high price tag. I paid close to 100 Euros before tip. Overall, I feel the value is extremely low compared to some of the Japanese restaurants in Berlin.

Every plate is extraordinarily good, highly recommend yaki tako and moriki salad! I’d say it’s worth the money, though some dishes/drinks things are overpriced.
Service is superb. Ambiente could be nicer. It‘s very loud inside and therefore the atmosphere knocks down the quality of the food a bit.

I have not traveled more ch in quite a long time, so those looking for my latest infamous Sushi Restaurant review will be delighted to.  How did I find this establishment you ask?  Well, my boss suggested we go to lunch in what turned out to be a cold dreary Saturday night n Deutschland (1 degrees C/32 degrees F).

We arrived just before the doors were open unlocked for our Saturday lunch, so didn’t have to wait long in the cold.  The ambience  of this place is quite sparse…think Mies van der Rohe…but quite nice/functional.

The food prices were quite reasonable.  Not sure why other reviews thought they were overpriced, but I guess a can of tuna be cheaper…to each their own.

Now for the food, the Yaki Tako salad was amazing with literally a melt-in--your-mouth Octopus.  Delicious.  The hot/sour soup was different than any other Asian restaurant…but in a good way.  Last, but certainly not least, was the Sashimi.  So delicious, tender, and ultimate in sushi grade fish (pictured).

If ever near downtown Frankfurt (not far from the Opera House), do your palate a favor and check this place out.

Well worth the trip.
