Fun cocktail bar with great food! A must when you’re in Munich. Loved the spinach balls, the salmon , the roast beef and the ribeye. Will get busy , make sure you reserve.

Interesting night at Schumann’s we walked in on a Friday night at 9pm with no reservation.

It’s not the friendliest place to get seated or get a drink with a seat, but once we got served for the first time we found seating upstairs and were well looked after.

Superb old fashioneds! Would recommend but have a gameplan on how to get seated and get a waiter.

It’s a hot place in the city, right next to the U-Bahn station, super convenient.
The choice of food menu is limited but delicious, they have plenty choice of drinks.
I like the service here, they are always friendly, supportive and helpful.
Already went to there couple of times.

The drinks were okay, but the service and atmosphere wasn't. We get in and the bar is packed with reservation signs, but no people. We get a table, with a reservation sign on it, before asking to sit at the bar. We get a seat at the bar, at another reservation sign, and are told that it will only be available for 30 minutes. We agreed to this, but in 30 minutes there were more available seats in the bar than when we took a seat. Then we ordered our drinks with the bartender, who seemed annoyed to be at work and didn't know their whisky sour recipe is a stable in the cocktail industry, and that was the last communication we had with him until rounding up. No chat and no checking in on whether we liked drinks. The whole experience had us feel unwelcome.

What a great bar! Was fully packed with people on Thursday night, yet bartenders were working lightning fast. Excellent making of classics: whisky sour, negroni, old fashioned. Nice music.
