Staying at the Metropol palace felt like stepping into a beautifully preserved piece of history.

The hotel is clean, comfortable, and full of character. The location is great - close to everything.

The gym is huge and very well equipped

I can’t wait to return!

The hotel is beautiful upon entering. But this review is for massages at the spa. customer service in booking and signing into the spa were good. The changing room has heated floors and that’s about where the 5 star attention to detail ends. Under the massage table was very dirty so I was staring at a filthy floor for most of the massage. I told him to go softer and he apologized for “torturing” my left shoulder, i told him too hard and my muscles will contract against the touch making the knots worse once I leave... My friends massage (head neck and shoulders) only touched one shoulder! Completely skipping the other side. In fact both massages were not symmetrical, they would do one set of moves on one side and not repeat them for the other. Also in a luxury spa I am used to at least having access to water and tea, more so the therapist should wait out side the door after the massage to give you a cup of water, this is basic practice in most US massage places- not even in a luxury setting.  The details are absolutely not up to my standards of a luxury hotel spa, much room

A perfect experience. My son and I stayed 8 days. The attention to detail and the care of the entire staff was flawless. The Food and the view of the rooftop restaurant excellent. I even got a bottle of Prosecco and some chocolate cake for my bday. Many thanks to Metropol for this wonderful experience and I’ll be back soon.

Never come to this place, if you don’t like to get a feeling what it means to be a Valued Guest. For past 20 years I am visiting Belgrade and staying in different hotels. So far Metropol I was avoiding thinking location in the city center has disadvantages. Yes, I was wrong, but it is not the location why I am writing a review. People at this hotel, starting from a vallet guys in front, receptionists, kitchen staff, event technicians-everyone are trying to go beyond every expectation. Polite, professional, polite☺️, maybe I should mention how polite and helpful they are-really a refreshing reveal in an already usually very friendly people country. Highly recommended and certainly we are becoming regulars in this place, looks like😅. Would gladly give more stars, unfortunately google is not expecting someone to be so exited and grateful. Great location - close to everything - very spacious rooms especially the one, that we stayed. Big indoor pool and amazing gym.

The staff are extremely friendly and always happy to help .
