Amazing restaurant, Michelin quality.
From the service, to the starters, main courses and desserts, everything was great.
We had the beef buns, mussaka, pork and cheese with spinach and garlic. Each dish was sublime. And the califlower cake was awesome.

Michelin recommendation restaurant. Therefore, expectations are very high. I would have given 5 stars in other case, probably. Let’s start with food. Very nice starters, really tasteful cheese pie. Seasonal salad was a bit disappointment. Very small, not salty at all and no onion (let’s be honest, onion is an ingredient which gives taste to salad). Great stewed beef. One of the best things I’ve tasted and solid kind of Vienna schnitzel (but nothing special. There are some spices which give nice taste, but it was really fatty). Also, very limited menus, which I like in general (very rarely, I saw good restaurant with wide menu). Food 5 because of beef.
Not bad service, trained people, who speaks English perfectly, but there were small omissions. They did not bring salt and pepper. They did not bring napkins. Also, we were waiting food for too long. Service 4, due to high expectations and small omissions. Atmosphere, nothing special. Place is in underground, very small for number of customers. Therefore, 3 for atmosphere. Prices are above average (let’s say 20%) but still below other Michelin restaurants in Belgrade. Overall, recommended for visit.

Waiter squeezed us in the community table despite not having a reservation. Lovely experience from start to finish. A very casual and unpretentious environment. Fairly priced despite the bib gourmand recommendation.

Quite nice place, good quality food, but was a bit unsatisfied with the recommendations for the dishes, for the oven baked cheese got recommended to take buckwheat rolls, which also had cheese and I didn’t know it. Even though they was good, but it’s 0 match. But food overall good. We liked the lamb main dish too.

I’ve been to both Tisa and Iva New Balkans Cuisine, and as someone who’s not super into meat or heavy Serbian food, I preferred Tisa. I also liked atmosphere in Tisa more, the place is much bigger and more quiet, and as it's not too busy, waiters are not in a rush. Iva is excellent too, just maybe not my first choice. The food is really tasty and reminds me of the stuff I’d have in my hometown, Pirot.

Just be aware—the portions in Iva are huge! I got the crusty chicken, and it was definitely enough for two. Desserts are awesome too, and the service was spot on!
