Outstanding experience.  Best meal in Slovenia during our two week trip.  Food was well prepared, delicious.  Service was top notch.  The wine pairing was an exceptional value and very enjoyable.  Small cosy and casual environment.  Exactly the type of restaurant anyone who loves food would enjoy. Highly recommended

Luxurious tasting menu at a fantastic price! Cozy outdoor seating, great wine, and excellent service. I had an incredibly delicious risotto and veal for the main course. The flavors didn't quite come together in the shrimp carpaccio and cheesecake, so I recommend choosing other dishes for cold starter and dessert.

Faladur is a small jewel hidden away in the Vipava valley. We came across it while preparing a road trip from Trieste to Ljubljana, as it recently got a bib gourmand in the Michelin guide (only 3 months in after they re-opened!).

Faladur provides a gastronomic experience full of flavour and warmth. The impecable balance of ingredients, the attention-to-detail of the wine pairing, and the kindness of the staff makes of this restaurant an unmissable stop in Slovenia.

I was tempted of giving them 4/5 stars just because they are not closer to where I live!
