We made the mistake of not reading the fine print and while the water in this cove was beautiful, getting there and the beach was not a great experience.

First, the road down is basically one lane with hairpin turns.  When you come across an oncoming car it’s extremely stressful.  Not so bad if you are in a tiny car but definitely a challenge in a sedan.  There is paid parking at the bottom, but given it was noon we were afraid all the spots would be gone so we chose to park a little further up on the gravel shoulder.

We parked just up from the lot, it was about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach.  But to be clear there is no sand, the shore is literally boulders and washed up seaweed.  There is nothing comfortable about it, I honestly don’t know how anyone could sit on there for more than 10 mins.  The seaweed is like a carpet you walk on to get to the ‘beach’.  People had their towels on it, and while it didn’t smell, that wasn’t super appealing.  It would be pretty precarious getting into the water with all the rocks because again, they aren’t small - these aren’t pebbles.  We were there at noon and there was also very little sun because of the cliffs - if you want that go later.

There are two restaurants so if you just want to grab a bite overlooking the water, that for us was all it was good for.  To swim in that cove you are best to do it by boat.  There are other beaches with the same beautiful water but lovely sand so if you want to be able to relax, be comfortable and be able to walk into the water without twisting your ankle, skip this.

If you like to adventure and have a nice time and enjoy cristal water this is beautiful place. This Cala is pedals but still beautiful, recommend take right shoes for it. Parking it’s available but small and full quickly and some area is only for resident

If you look for a beautiful view of the forest and mountain this beach will be worth visiting even though the beach is rocky but the water is clear blue is very nice for snorkelling.

An interesting cove but definitely not worth the effort. The walking route from the village is treacherous and never ending. No effort has been made to make it family friendly or with the slightest disability. There is no flat space when you arrive at the sea to stand or sit without going in the cafe or restaurant. Getting into the water definitely requires sea shoes and agility. Avoid this place and take the boat to sa calobra instead which is better in every respect.

Beautiful spot in the pre-season. Sheltered from the wind and good for getting into the water. Only a few jellyfish are a nuisance - but it works. Pitches on concrete slabs or sand.
