Hotaru Madrid is a true gem! The sushi is absolutely top-notch, and the tuna is so fatty, it simply melts in your mouth. The service is impeccable, and a special shoutout to Fabiana for her warm and friendly welcome. Alexandra, the sushi chef, is incredibly talented; each dish was a work of art and tasted amazing. The restaurant also has a good vibe and beautiful interior design, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Hotaru Madrid is truly a rising star for Michelin, and I can't wait to see it get the recognition it deserves. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for an authentic and delightful sushi experience in Madrid!

The place is beautiful, the service is excellent, and the food is good however The quality does not match the price. The only reasonably priced thing in the menu is the omakase. If you order things separately the bill easily goes €100. I would definitely recommend the omakase, however simple dishes like a roll a price highly.

Hotaru offers great food with some standout dishes, but it leans on the pricey side. The nigiri selection is excellent, and the soft-shell crab maki is a highlight. Absolutely great experience , the food was incredible, the cocktails too ( the lychee martini was soo good) and the service is the cherry on top of the cake. We were attended by Carolina who made my anniversary dinner truly memorable. Will definitely come back.

The ambience is great! Love it! Sad thing is the food is really not so good. I read quite a few reviews and some have mentioned about the food. More of "to be seen" than focus on the food. This is definitely not a Michelin Star. I don't know why they've such a logo on their website.

Their Omakase is affordable at EU 60 per pax and sake flight at EU 21. Price are reasonable but the omakase is disappointing. Not because is not enough food but the presentation is more like a set lunch. Sushi most important is the texture and quality of the RICE. How many times does a Japanese resto didn't realise if their rice is no good, no matter how cute or how much sauce you try to mask it, customers can tell. I don't know what rice they use but certainly it was not well cooked.

Sake flight is also not great. Yes is not expensive but I'll rather they serve 3 good quality of sake than 5 not so good stuff.

Is a trendy place and location is not bad but I wouldn't come back here again.
