I visited this restaurant and was extremely satisfied. Right upon entering, I was greeted by a pleasant atmosphere that immediately set a comfortable tone. The food was of excellent quality—carefully prepared and seasoned, with every bite being an experience.

The staff were exceptionally professional and accommodating, always with a smile and a willingness to assist. The restaurant's environment was elegant, clean, and cozy at the same time, which only enhanced the overall impression.

I can wholeheartedly recommend this top-notch service to anyone seeking a perfect culinary experience.

I visited Ochre at 4.30 for an early dinner with my disabled father.
Anna, the hostess, was incredibly accommodating and friendly, going the extra mile to make sure we felt comfortable and looked after.
The staff were all incredible, I have never had such wonderful service in London.
The food was amazing. My dad had crab and mussels and I had the buratta and ravioli, with an affogato to finish. The presentation was astounding.
We had a really beautiful time and I would absolutely recommend!

To be honest, I booked Ochre out of convenience, since we would be at the National Gallery for the (excellent) exhibit of Van Gogh: Poets & Lovers. But we're happy we did it: it turned out to be an excellent dinner, in all aspects! The ambience was carefully customized to the exhibit, with sunflowers everywhere, including a drinks' menu inspired by Van Gogh's work - we had the "Red Vineyards" and the "White Field with Cypresses", both excellent, see the pics. But besides that, the service was excellent and really attentive (our waiter, for instance, rushed to execute our drinks order 3 minutes before the end of the happy hour, giving us an instant 50% discount). And the food was *really* great! We had white beans & sausage dish (me) and a ravioli (my wife) that were just great. Amazing night, we didn't expect to be so happily satisfied with the meal! Recommended on its own, with or without the museum visit!

A strategic choice if you are a tourist pressed for time, do not care eating in a loud bustling place and are planning  to attend the National Gallery immediately following lunch.

The whole thing felt rushed and crowded. Sitting at our small round table for two, was an excruciating trial, cramped between two other tables, an uncomfortable booth bench, and having to move things around (like the flower vase, the lamp, the votive and the water glasses) so that the plates we had ordered could fit.
Our kind waitress looked overworked which contributed to increase our level of stress.
1. An unremarkable cheeseburger
2. A too oily  and salty trufle and ricotta ravioli
3. A smallish bitter leaves salad.
4. A reliable English breakfast tea.

Next time a slice of pizza on the run would have accomplished the same objective: to assuage hunger.

Delicious. Headed here for an early lunch after a morning sampling dramatic British history in the guise of the portraits over the centuries, and the understated yet piquant descriptions of the subjects and their lives. Did not have a booking, and so fortunate for us to arrive early enough to be seated. Highly recommended.
