One of my favourite bars I visited during my trip to Mexico City in February 2025.

Great cocktail list and great service. Take thr recommendations from the bar staff they really are experts. Great atmosphere too.

Delicious cocktails (the Mango Salad is one of the best drinks I’ve ever had) and attentive staff. Good music / atmosphere too! 100% recommend (would recommend reserving if you’re a bigger group as it’s smaller space).

Excellent bar! We stumbled across Bar Mauro and had one of the best nights we had in Mexico City. Great atmosphere and decor, trendy without being pretentious. We enjoyed the thoughtful playlist house/disco. Super friendly staff and attentive service. Brandon our server was fantastic and we met the owner Eduardo who was also very friendly. Cocktails some of the best we had in the city and small plates were super tasty and considered menu. We will recommend!

Sat at the bar for drinks and David was the bartender. I was going to go for the Mango Salad but he suggested the namesake drink, Maurito. It was lovely and I appreciated that he made it clear if I didn’t like it, he’d easily switch it out. He also served us a test of the Don Juanito, which had coconut sorbet in it that’d I’d order if I could go again.

Overall the experience was lovely and the vibe of the bar is super romantic with a great playlist.

This place is amazing from the decor to the staff to the drinks . Just recently open and had the pleasure of coming here almost every night of my stay in Mexico City ! The drink menu is great definitely try the ‘ Rhymes Like Dymes ‘  it was delicious , the atmosphere is very intimate, with a cute little patio in the back . The staff were very informative on the drink menu and give you a back story about the inspiration of the drinks and place .  The bartenders were by far the best part , they were all super cool and very easy to talk to , you can tell they were excited to be part of the project. It’s a small entrance , you might actually walk pass by it at first , but definitely adds to the charm of being a cocktail bar. As someone that explored the cocktail  scene in Mexico City this by far was the best and with it just being open for a month, it will be without a doubt going to become a very popular bar. if you are lucky enough to get in early before the hype you should definitely check this place out ! And I believe it’s dog-friendly  so they get extra points for that !
