The best flavor you will get out of a smash burger.   I’ve tried pretty much all the so-called “best smash burgers” in LA and I gotta say this place takes the top spot.

First bite blew my mind.  I had never had that much flavor come out of burger patty like that.  That short rib beef they use is no joke, you can absolutely taste the quality.

The portion size for the heavy fries is insane.  You definitely get a lot of bang for your buck when you order it.  I’d say it’s the size of 4 animal style fries from in n out.  Couldn’t even finish it between two people.

Can’t recommend this place enough. I wish I knew about it sooner

Soooooo GOOD! A must try. I did the triple cheeseburger with 2 sauces. & every bite was delicious & delightful.
The service is friendly, prompt & on point. They do a great job constantly cleaning the tables. The Restroom was spotless. Which is a great sign in such a busy establishment.

Pretty cool place to catch a bite to eat. Never heard of the place until we recently visited here. It does get very busy. I’ll tell you that. Only offers outside dining. Pretty convenient on the wait time for the food considering how busy it gets. Overall I can’t say that I really enjoy their heavy fries better than In-N-Out animal fries. Give it a try for yourself. Let’s hear what you think.

If you're looking for a burger fix you need to check out Heavy Handed.

The menu has a bunch of great options, but would recommend the double combo. The double burger is packed with juicy, flavorful patties that hit the spot every time. The single is good, but the double is the perfect balance of meat, cheese, and all the fixings.

The vibe here is super chill, too. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or hanging out with friends, the casual atmosphere makes it a great spot to relax and enjoy some killer food. The staff is always friendly and quick to help out.

So, next time you're in the mood for a burger in Santa Monica, would recommend Heavy Handed and go for the double.

If you like smash burgers this is the place for you. Long lines, lack of parking and sitting can be a distraction. BUT you can order from their website and simply pick up at the window in less than 5 min....completely bypassing the line!!! We parked, ordered, walked over and found a place to sit and order was ready. My husband loved it. I thought it was adequate but not worth the bother. Cool place to try out if you are in the area.
