Was told to come and expect great food, was rewarded with perfection.
Flavours and textures will astound you. Both the chicken and lamb we ordered were seasoned well and seared superbly while maintaining juiciness.
The vegetarian options were fresh and crisp, mixed with fried pita for crunchiness.
Dessert was heavenly with the semolina cake moist with a nice brittle top.
The Damascus tea and Arabic coffee rounded up a very enjoyable lunch.
The environment while small, is cosy, and the service is top notch.

The two of us shared four small plates, and each one was outstanding. The humus might be the best we've had anywhere. If you like Mediterranean style dishes you've got to check this place out (oh, and reservations aren't a bad idea).

Food was really really good! Loved the hummus and every dish was made with fresh ingredients and a lot of love. We ordered the banquet which was awesome and got to taste lots of different dishes. The only thing I would fault was that it was pricey. We spent $240 for two people. And the tables were tiny for banquet we had to ask for the bottle of water and cups to be removed so there was space for dishes. Otherwise food awesome.

My partner and I were recommended Damascus by a friend while visiting Wellington so we booked a table and we were SO happy we did!!! The food was absolutely delicious and perfect for sharing, staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Every dish was amazing and the atmosphere was great. Highly recommend getting the Booza for desert, definitely a highlight! Thank you!!!
