The stairs were disappointing, but we're glad we went. It took us to the other side of town and we ended up walking through some interesting stalls, shops and places.

The rainbow stairs looked good. There were shops above the steps, so something for you to do instead of just visiting the steps. There are plenty of markets next to it, which is worth visiting.

This place has been overly hyped. Honestly, it's not worth the trouble unless you happen to be nearby. Getting there is extremely challenging, especially during peak traffic times. I believe the promotion is beneficial for some souvenir shops nearby, but the place itself is quite ordinary, and the pictures look better than the reality.
