Istanbul's craft brewery. As it's outside the main tourist areas, it's worth taking public transport to get there, but it's also a good walk from the city centre . We did this, so we saw lots of interesting things along the way. But you should only take it if you are in good physical condition because of all the hills. The brewery is charming. There is an open and an indoor part. The prices are high, as they are in places like this anywhere in the world. Unfortunately, the beers are average. However, I was surprised that they didn't have a good selection of their own beers, some of which sold out quickly. A brewery should have beer! That was it!

This is a late review of my visit on August 21st. I try to visit as many breweries as I can, so Bosphorus Brewing Company was on my list to visit in Turkey. The place has a lot of space with a huge patio and an inside area. The patio is covered in shade, partially due to the natural vines, which looks cool.

They serve beer flights, so you can try all their beers. I was not impressed by beers much, but the craft beer scene in Turkey is still developing, so this is fine. I would probably recommend trying their Table Beer, mostly because not many breweries bother with this style. Other than the beer, we ordered some food and everything was excellent. It is a bit confusing that Boshoporus Brewing Company brews beers under the name of Knidos Brewery, but it is what it is.

If you're into craft beers, then you should probably pay this place a visit.

Visited in February 2015.
We had a layover in Istanbul, so I googled if there were any brewpubs in the city to visit. Bosphorus Brewing Company seemed to be the only one. It took a while for the cab driver to find it (even with the name and address), but after a couple of phone calls, we finally arrived. It was a Saturday night, and the place was quite full. Surprisingly, I heard more English than Turkish being spoken. However, when the waiter came, they didn’t speak any English. With some improvised sign language, I managed to order some beers.
The restaurant had iPads at every table for ordering, but unfortunately, we couldn’t get them to work. Undeterred, I decided to taste all the beers they had available. We also ordered some food. The bill turned out to be a bit larger than expected, but I’m not complaining. While the beers at this American-style brewpub weren’t exceptional, it’s not easy to find better ones in Istanbul. If I ever find myself in Istanbul again, I would definitely visit Bosphorus Brewing Company.

My partner and I have been now 7 days in Istanbul for holiday and have been eating a lot of locals food. This time we wanted to try something else. We both are food lovers and tried food and some beers at this place. We ordered the mini burgers, nachos, buffalo wings, hotdog and the biramisu. They were all tasty and so creative. Our favourite was the mini burgers and the biramisu. We also tried some of their own brewed beer Knidos. Our favourite was definitely the Salonikator, which is 8% of alcohol and full with flavours. It's amazing to find some special beers around in Istanbul as we find it quite difficult to find it anywhere. The service here is very friendly and professional, thank you so much. We will definitely come back!
