It's been quite a while since I've been so disappointed in a dining experience. None of the dishes in our ten-course meal were that good. We kept hoping for better food but were consistently let down. As a result, we didn't finish many of the courses and ended up going home for pizza.

Lovely little place in central Vesterbro. The veggie dishes are playful and produce fresh (they haven’t changed the menu since February so I can’t say seasonally). The fish is soft as butter - and comes with almond butter. The kitchen predominately seems occupied with umami, fat and sweet sensations. A dash of acid  could take some of the dishes from really good to great.

The staff is kind, attentive, even when busy, which makes it a very pleasant experience.

The atmosphere is cozy, warm and pleasant.

Second time here. We really liked the first time but this time the dishes were a bit of a flop. The atmosphere was great and their cocktail menu is amazing. But the food could be a bit better in my opinion. We liked the tartare, malt chips and the leak dish though.

Interesting restaurant in the heart of Vesterbro offering a variation on themes all too common in modern Danish restaurants. Nothing wrong with that, as the execution was quite excellent, however don’t expect surprises. We had Tipster vouchers so we had the 10 servings menu and was very pleased with the quantities too, as we left full (also not a common thing in Copenhagen). The menu was well varied, even for my wife who does not eat meat. Everything was tasty, although I personally find beef tartare to be such a tired concept. Good wine list. Okay service, suggest the staff to familiarize themselves more with the dishes (or to ask the kitchen, “don’t know” cannot be an answer). Finally, charging 35 kr/person for water is an habit to root out. Also, repeat after me: bread and butter, no matter how good, cannot count as a dish.

We have seen it many times full and really wanted to visit!
We went on a Sunday night and had the 10 plate menu for 2.

First we were seated at a table which was blocking the one next to it, so we had to stand up every time the other guests wanted to go or come and for the waitress to wait the plates.
Maybe it would be better to miss a table than to put your guests like we are sheeps.

Then the (as we were told) manager offered us another table which was next to the kitchen and the toilet (but better than the previous option). We ordered for a bottle of still water which we were charged for (familiar with this condition) but when it was empty the bartender replaced it with another one without asking us first so we had this charged as well (don't know if this is normal here but we should have been asked if we needed some more!)

The food was ok, a little salty. Some dishes better than the others but really nothing special.

Also I really think they are understaffed! There was only one waitress (the kindest and with the biggest smile! She was excellent) and a bartender/manager who was also serving. Since the restaurant was  full, it felt like they were running to make it.

The restaurant as a place was ok!

Unfortunately we are not going back!
