Came here for lunch and they had a menu on board with fusion food of Indian and Japanese flavours and Irish ingredients. Always packed so there is a wait for a table. It’s good overall but would like to see more Irish flavours and chunkier portions with meat and fish. Didn’t try the cakes but they looked good.

This was our top meal during our 9-day stay across Ireland. It has a multitude of awards and we now know why! The daily menu is written on the wall. We landed on the beef satay and the falafel dish. Both dishes were bursting with flavor, so much texture and tastes that are so different but blend well together. The portions were generous and we left super happy and wished we had another chance for try the other dishes!

One star is for the freshness of the ingredients and the perfection of the meat grilling. However, we should expect more from this price. The creativity of the dishes is lackluster, and the seasoning is bland. For example, beef, although the onion adds a sense of shape and some flavor, the taste of the green sauce covering the meat is very vague, and it is even better to substitute it for good salt. Overall seasoning is flat. But the dessert was not bad, so the second star was given to the dessert. In addition, the three of us sat at a super big and long table at the entrance, which was so long that we couldn't hear each other, which greatly detracted from the dining experience.

As you can tell from the numerous good reviews, this place is fantastic. The food is incredible (wish we had the monkfish!). We started with the oysters and continued on from there. Our waitress was absolutely lovely and the restaurant has this cozy and unique vibe- worth a visit! Book ahead if you wish to eat in the evening, reservation only for dinner.

We heard about Kai from reviews and word of mouth. We turned up too early for the lunch menu and started with coffee, chocolate cake and the best blackberry scone we ever had. The staff were super friendly and we stayed for lunch. We went for the two veggie options which looked as deliciousness as they tasted, the portions were huge plus having had our dessert in reverse it was a bit of struggle but worth it! Can’t recommend it enough, amazing food with a really beautiful cozy space with a super friendly atmosphere.
