Had an amazing dining experience at O Velho Eurico tonight. We didn’t have a table booked and had waited for quite some time, but it was well worth the wait. The food at the atmosphere were incredible! The service was fantastic, despite the restaurant being full. Special thanks to the staff for being so kind and helpful! A top notch experience and a must if you want to taste authentic Portuguese cuisine!

We booked in advance (HIGHLY recommended) for the first lunch sitting at 12.30pm - we enjoyed almost all of the dishes on their menu for the day. We had incredible service, fantastic food (will continue to rave about it) and there is so much character and charm to the venue, we didn't want to get up and leave!

We had four dishes (shared between two of us) plus an empanada each, and a dessert each - a little more than recommended to us, but we were hungry after a big morning of walking around Lisbon.

Having read some of the negative reviews, we knew we were going to the right place - cool plates, delicious food that comes out at the perfect time, and such friendly service from the guys front of house.

Believe the hype. Fantastic food, but definitely book else be prepared for a long wait and still no guarantee of a table. Also, contrary to what you might read, staff are not rude. They are busy servicing a small and busy restaurant. Ours were great - efficient but friendly and deserved the service charge. Lovely little homemade aperitif at the end of the meal, too. We also felt the meal was excellent value for money.

What an amazing place! The food is great, good sized portions to share, we had 4 plates between 2 people and it is more than enough! Their seasoning was out of this world. We went to other more “upscale” places in Lisbon that were very good, but you can skip all of those and just go here. Fair priced, excellent Portuguese food and atmosphere!

Magical. All four of us said that this was one of the best dining/food experiences we have ever had. The food was spectacular - and the service even better. The whole place has an edge but a good, full of attitude edge that is friendly and talented. Big shout out especially to Marguerita who was a star 🌟
