From the moment we stepped into Hakkasan Mayfair, it was clear we were in for an exceptional experience. Despite arriving earlier than our booking time, the staff were incredibly accommodating and managed to seat us without any fuss—a gesture that set the tone for the evening.

The warm and friendly greeting from every member of the team made us feel immediately welcome. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was phenomenal—an elegant mix of sophistication and vibrancy that created the perfect backdrop for our evening.

A special mention must go to the sommelier, Sasha/Sacha (excuse the spelling), whose expertise elevated our dining experience. His recommendations on both the red and dessert wines were spot on and perfectly complemented the exquisite dishes we enjoyed.

Speaking of the food, every single dish that came out was an absolute delight. The flavours were refined, the presentation flawless, and the quality second to none. If you go, do not miss the duck salad—it’s truly something special and one of the best dishes I’ve had in a long time.

For my first visit to Hakkasan Mayfair, I can honestly say it exceeded every expectation. I loved every second of it, and I can’t wait to return. This restaurant is an absolute must-visit for anyone seeking a world-class dining experience. Five stars well deserved!

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Hakkasan. The waiting staff were exceptionally attentive and provided clear and helpful explanations throughout our meal. We opted for the Taste of Hakkasan menu, starting with the vegan dim sum and duck salad—both excellent choices.

For the mains, my partner chose the spicy prawns, which were flavorful but lacked the expected spiciness, while I had the ribeye. Unfortunately, the ribeye was slightly overcooked and a bit tough, though I hadn’t specified medium rare. We also ordered a side of pak choi in oyster sauce, which complemented the meal beautifully.

Dessert was delightful, with hazelnut ice cream—a personal favorite—though it felt less aligned with traditional Cantonese flavors. The cocktails were a highlight, skillfully crafted and beautifully presented. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d gladly return to explore more of the menu.
