Outstanding Dinner.
We came one Tuesday evening and sat down at a table.
We ordered the mussels and sardines.
Got a recommendation for a bottle of red wine: Sincere.
Excellent recommendation for the wine.
The mussels were delicious with a foamy top.
The sardines were delicious with a light olive oil.
Our entrees were the sea bass and cod.
Both were delicious.
The sea bass was crispy with a light sauce and avocados.
The cod was perfect, with peas and sausage, and a purée.
Service was friendly, and we of course said "Salut" to the chef.
What a wonderful place for dinner.

The relatively new «Le Bouchon et l'Assiette» has become our local «canteen» in the 17éme arrondisement of Paris. Clement Vidalon and Cecile Delabre greet us like family with a hug and wide smiles.  The menu, presented on a «tableau» or chalkboard, features seasonal specialties with daily specials, e.g., chanterelles; foie gras.  Both the «entrées» and «plats» are inventive, well prepared and beautifully served.  The wine list is small but with lots of fabulous surprises at good prices. Truly a find.  (Don't tell anyone but your best friends who appreciate good food and value.)
