Was so lucky to get a table on Wednesday a week after they got their star and my goodness they deserve it. Every dish was absolutely divine and really could pick a favourite because it was all so good. The staff were amazing from the moment we arrived to the moment we stepped out of the door. So welcoming friendly and professional at the same time. Special mention to Ash who really looked after us from wine pairing to histories of the dishes we were served. Such a good guy and he taught me a thing or two about wine.

What an experience that I will remember for a long time. Thank you so much

🌟 Newly minted Michelin Star restaurant

Highly recommend 64 Goodge Street—such an unforgettable meal and well deserving of its new Michelin star. We came to celebrate a girlfriend’s birthday, and every course had that mind-blowing pop of flavour. We left absolutely stuffed (in the best way).

For the first course, I tried both the eel and the quail—separate dishes—and both were phenomenal. For mains, we all went with the duck, which was cooked to absolute perfection.

We also added some a la carte sides (frog pops, pommes Anna, and broccolini). Every single bite was memorable, though we were way too full to finish everything.

Dessert was the Paris Brest—my favourite. Not too sweet, just the perfect, satisfying end to an amazing dinner.

After my first time visit, this must be my best keep restaurant in London.

The meal was nice, but only the main seemed to be matching up with the Michellin expectations. The snack of frog legs was OK, fairly small though, not memorable anyway. Raviole was slightly disappointing. First, the presentation had fallen apart when landed on the table. Then the crab meat was found cold on top. Crab meat inside the raviole was hot at the same temperature as that for the rest. So mixing the whole thing to eat felt like having one bit cold and one bit hot. I knew the crab meat was cooked, but it didn't taste well as the temperature message was playing in the brain.

The main was truly a delight demonstrating sound culinary skills and lovely textures all in one. Dessert was disappointing again. Presentation not appealing at all. Thick brandy sauce was overly sweet, and it swamped the crepes. It was so soaked up in the sauce so it didn't taste like freshly made to order at all.

Ice cream was not delicate enough to give the vanilla fragrance as probably the same issue with the overly sweet and thick sauce alongside. Expectation for bread and petit fours was usually high for a French restaurant, but again not impressed with the offering. It was a fairly averaged meal, apart from the main, so I took another star off as my Google review is always about value for money, rather than taste alone.

Service was OK in general. But I was seated next to the entrance reception, so I heard the servers' conversation all the time and made it less enjoyable. It was a small restaurant, tables and serving plates were also very small. Sound reverberation were problematic, including kitchen washing up noises, all bouncing around the dining area.

Fantastic food with a great selection of wines. Very good value with the 2 and 3 course options. We went for my friends birthday and they wrote her a sweet card which all the staff signed, an incredible touch of great service.
