Fish and chip fridays was very clutch. Great large portions and friendly service. Appetizers very good as well

BEWARE SCAMMER WORKING HERE..

we are here on 9/15/24 and asked a young man waiter who said he was 17 if the 12.5% service charge was the tip amount - he replied "oh no, you must be from the US" you should leave extra for a tip as well.  Later at other establishments we were told we were taken advantage of.  So, my recommendation with any restaurant like this is to give them a poor rating,  want a better rating, fire the young man who blatantly lies to customers.  He also asked us for an address in the United States because he wanted to go to school there and "needed a permanent address" to get into the US, we didn't fall for that one.  Perhaps the management team should rethink his employment.

Great Food was a bit worried at first but it was very tasty. Especially since my family and I are so particular.

Service: slow to start, but recovered in the end
Food: below average sushi. It's a restaurant with sushi and not a sushi restaurant. They don't even have sake. Tuna was flavorless and the salmon was fishy. Avocado roll was tolerable and the cucumber roll was tiny.
Ambiance: literally trash tier. Bumping annoying loud music to hype the place up despite being empty. They all smoke hookah on the patio.

Thought we were about to be accosted walking into this restaurant but it turns out it was the owner sitting outside mean mugging everyone crossing his arms talking to the security guard. I went to the bathroom and I'm pretty sure he had an employee follow me... PS the men's bathroom is nasty, sticky floors and urine everywhere. The NHS or food inspector of this country should visit this place. Wouldn't ever return, even if they paid me. Gross.

The food and service was nice. The ambiance was nice and cozy. We saw another table not happy with their food but our Salmon was on point.

Place definitely has potential, but the service is completely unsatisfactory. Absolutely not up to par with the higher end dining that this place is made out to be. Gorgeous interior. Great views. Food is decent. But all is ruined with service. 

Granted it WAS towards the end of the night, so let's give them the benefit of the doubt.

Great view but the service was horrible. I asked for a gin gimlet but they gave me a strawberry daiquiri. I ordered a sushi roll which was overpriced and the quality was bad. I also didn't realize it was a hookah lounge and I couldn't escape the smoke.

The service reviews are on point. We are staying in the complex above the restaurant. This place is usually empty. Walked downstairs and most of the inside tables and half the outside tables are empty. Several employees standing around outside doing nothing so we asked for a table for two. They asked if we had reservations for the empty restaurant then made us wait and wait and wait some more so she could go cut up with other employees while she was "checking" to see if they had an open table. We got tired of waiting and went somewhere else. Definitely not the top end restaurant they claim to be.

Food tasted great! I had the grilled salmon, which was cooked perfectly and the skin was crispy. I very much enjoyed it. My hard-to-please father wouldn't stop raving about is steak, baby potatoes and Gin and Tonic. The fish and chips were really good sized and cooked very well. 

The service was a bit on the slow side, which is really my only complaint. I wanted to take away a star for the service but the quality of the food more than made up for it. Would recommend

Beautiful restaurant, but piss poor service and measly portions for some of the most expensive dishes. Our servers took forever to come check on us throughout the meal. The few times that they ever did.

I had a reservation for a group of 8, some of whom are celebrities on globally syndicated tv shows. I didn't bother mentioning it in person, but they didn't take notice. Which is fine - we wanted a low-key dining experience, but you'd think they'd at least be somewhat attentive.

I ordered the whole lobster (for nearly £40) and the portion was so pathetic I ended up ordering a full steak entree and sides just to have a decently satisfying meal there (another £35-40 for the entreé and £25-30 worth of side dishes). The steak was undercooked and gave me a sick stomach later. I was really hungry but couldn't finish it despite leaving hungry.

It was actually laughable how tiny my "whole lobster" was! It had no claws and only a tiny sliver of lobster chunks in each half. It was just barely even an appetizer's worth of lobster. My friend's £15 lobster roll that afternoon had more meat in it. This became a running joke throughout our meal.

Towards the end of our experience, we were rushed to leave. Despite them barely taking notice of us for the hour and a half we were there.

My friend is a vegetarian and ordered the quinoa entreé, which he asked to please have no tomatoes and no cucumber in. But of course it was full of both, making it inedible for him.

Not only will I not be back, but I will go a step further to actively tell my friends to NOT go here. It was absolutely appalling how careless they were with our service and general experience as they bantered and joked around near the bar area as we'd wait for service. An entire joke and a complete waste of money.

I spent £110 here and have had better dining experiences for £30.
