Thank you, London Yelpers, for leading me to this gem for dinner with a business colleague last night. What drew us here were the comments posted by Yelpers on the wine list and unique menu items, and they nailed it!

I really liked the ambience. The big windows offering view of the activity outside are cool. And the wine list is, indeed, varied while being very nicely priced. We settled on a bottle of Barbaresco Roccalini, a vintage I have never tried. Crisp and dry, it was very flavorful and complimented both our meals very nicely. 

We started by sharing a cheese tray featuring a buffalo's milk blue and sheep's milk with truffle - very unique and very good! I very much enjoyed the tuna tare tare appetizer; very fresh and flavorful. For my entree I chose the pheasant garnished with walnuts, pear and chamomile. The pheasant was quite dry and I didn't finish it. To be honest, I don't know if that is to be expected or if mine was simply overcooked.

In any event, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would definitely return.

This restaurant, which opened quite recently, is definitely worth a visit (or two) as it offers good value and their pastas are exquisite. It is fair to say that is the best Italian establishment in the Farringdon area (at least when compared to Polpo, Apulia and Carluccio's).

It seems that they change their menu regularly, which will prompt me to come back again. The only drawback is that the large windows leave the patrons too exposed to the street.

Prices are very reasonable when weighted against the quality of the dishes. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual and would thus make it a poor choice for a business lunch.

Overall marvelous meal! Solid Italian wine list with discounted, good quantity bottle listed on the first page. 

Had the fig and cheese appetizer which was very well done, served on a skewer, proper balance of saltiness with the cheese and sweetness with the fig. Fig flavor wasn't over bearing. Served which a dried kale and pomegranate side salad that compliment it well. 

Autumn Trofile as the main dish the best pasta I've had in London. Heavenly balance of rich fall flavors, pasta itself very fresh tasting. 

Tiramisu was a solid finish to and overall fantastic meal. Especially when considering the value, would recommend.

What a lovely, lovely place this is for a glass of wine. 

There was barely anyone in here just after work and I expected this to be more wine bar than restaurant. 

The wine list is excellent and matched by really knowledgable staff - though I didn't have food on this occasion. I'll have to go back for that!

Great atmosphere, nice food and what a wine list!! A strong must go for every foodie or wine obsessed!
I had the following tapas: mortadella & gnocco fritto, cured Parma ham and burrata paired with a fantastic Franciacorta. Then Brussel sprouts & gorgonzola cheese gratin paired with Barolo.
The personnel is very knowledgeable and can suggest the perfect wine for your taste and your food.

Had a highly enjoyable meal here of asparagus and parmesan and then some pesca frita. Along with some lovely vermentino. Wines by the glass very affordable. A great value in general. Have already told the very lovely staff I'll be back for lunch this week.
