I had heard about this place and wanted to try it.

We came at a time when it was super crowded. When we entered I was a bit confused by the crowd of people, after a few minutes we understood that we needed to get a ticket.
Basically, you get a ticket and you wait for your turn to be able to order. It was the weekend, so wait time was expected.
That might also be a way for them to handle flow of people because the food arrived super fast.

Our items were pretty simple (which maybe helped in getting served fast). We got the burger, fries, and the egg sandwich.

The egg sandwich wasn’t to my taste and that’s on me - the braised kale was a bit too much. I had removed the bacon as well, so not much was left.

The burger was apparently good. And, the fries fine.
My hot chocolate was okay.

The atmosphere is nice with the outside patio and a bunch of tables. It was cute. We managed to get a table as people had just left.

Overall, this place is nice. Nice vibe for the weekend brunch.

I was a bit disappointed with the food compared with the price they charge for it (and yes they automatically charge 20% of service fee when you are waiting standing to place the order). But, that’s their policy so take it or leave it I guess. And, that probably make things easier. Now I know.

I’ll maybe come back to try something more to my taste and maybe try their pastries.

Good food, decent environment. Egg sandwich was delicious and the veggies sandwich was solid. Fresh ingredients. Bathrooms had a line and were pretty gross. Everything was expensive and there's an automatic 20% gratuity added even though it's not a sit down place.

I don’t understand the bad reviews. Those people are probably not used to paying good money for good food. This place is awesome: fresh ingredients, awesome pastries, amazing bread, wonderful outdoor space. Both baby and dog friendly. One of my favorite places in Venice that I know I can rely on for many years from now on.

It get very busy on Sunday, food is amazing. And when super busy is normal that something got missed, but staff is wonderful so they will help you get what missing. Sandwich ham and egg is amazing! Also flat bred pepperoni is super hot! Worth to go!

One in our group is a regular here, and it turned out to be a popular spot for Sunday brunch. There appeared to be 2 queues - one to order from the menu and another for pastries and coffee. Take a ticket if you want the former, and join the shorter queue if you want the latter.

The Tahini Croissant was a novelty for me. It was quite sweet but also had the distinctive roasted sesame flavour I love. The Cardamom Knot had the spice I enjoy but wasn't as overpowering as I had in Scandinavia. The Spiced Mocha had a decent dose spice to wake up the tastebuds.

My friends enjoyed their Berry Waffle, Shashuka Eggs, Breakfast Burritos and Blueberry French Toast.

Loved the vibe in the outdoor courtyard, where we basked in the LA sunshine. One of the Breakfast Burritos was MIA for a long time. Service was minimal. I would return to check out some of the other temptations, but only because the food was really good.
