To preface, I came to La Niña on New Years Eve to have their tasting menu. It’s composed of dishes featured on their regular menu, but I don’t think you would be able to get this any other time.

Food — overall very solid. Each dish is curated with the intention of representing Peru's expansive cuisine, sourcing the majority of ingredients from the coast whilst respecting Andean cultures. Their abalone is infused with a boozy tiger milk sauce so good I took a shot of it. The “ceviche without fish” uses fermented kelp for briny depth, balanced by tropical fruits to soften the sharp funk and saltiness. I could go on about how high their highs are, but it’s worth noting where La Niña stumbles—the earthy dishes. In the attached photos, you’ll find a dark brown soup and two cubes of lamb in a green broth. The former's dark hue comes from eucalyptus, imparting a deep, earthy smell but a dreadful dirt flavor. The latter runs into the same issue, but this time, it overwhelms the delicate flavor of lamb that was cooked for 48 hours just so that it could stand out.

Service — it was great, no complaints.

Atmosphere — really depends on how sensitive you are to noise.  With New Years Eve, songs were played at full blast that drown out conversations and may hurt ears. Hopefully, your visit won't be like mine in this respect. This aside, the place is beautiful.

Overall — it's worth it. It's hard to find tasting menus of this caliber anywhere else for this price. If you don't have the opportunity for the tasting menu, try it anyways. I'm confident in La Niña's ability to cook some great food despite its shortcomings.

Service was great. Food was OK, had higher expectations. Drinks were good. We got complementary chocolate truffles which were A-MAZING. Loved the spot and the price is good for its location.

Hidden gem in Lima. A must try if you are near Miraflores or San Isidro. They have a wonderful tasting menu. Amazing food and not expensive for what they offer. Great value. Congrats to the chef and staff!

We landed here randomly for lunch after visiting Huaca Pucllana and we were impressed of the quality of the food and the quality of the restaurants workers (especially Gabriel who served us)! We got Percebius, classic Chevice and another plate with shrimps and mashed  potatoes and a bottle of Peruvian orange wine. Everything was amazing and really surprised us.

very loud music. i could not enjoy the food with such a noisy atmosphere.
The cocktail and food were ok.
but they didn't ask me how the meat should be cooked and the brought the bread only when i had finish my meal.
