We ate here twice on our recent trip to Paris. The restaurant is run by an extremely energetic and friendly team, and the menu changes daily. While the kitchen team works wonders inside, the sommelier, who has an exceptional knowledge of the wine list, will recommend the perfect wine for your chosen dish and palate.  Highly recommended and do not forget to book in advance.

Capitaine is a real gem of a place. The food is both comforting and decadent, the space feels inviting, and the service feels warm and friendly. My family had a lovely meal there tonight and we’re very glad we were able to dine there in the course of a short visit to the city!

One restaurant in Paris where the tables are not cramped next to each other!  Simple and unpretentious interior, but inviting nevertheless. A varied and creative menu, the food was delicious and beautifully plated.

Amazing dishes and wonderful service. We tried risotto de girolles, pigeon de chez Joël and carré d'agneau de lait. Every dish is a harmonious balance of flavour and texture; it’s impossible to pick a favourite. The staff is very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The atmosphere is more on the modern and contemporary side - and not a traditional French restaurant ambience, and it complements the whole experience.

Impressive menu and presentation. The kitchen staff worked incredibly together and offered us an amazing meal. The dessert !!!!!!! I never had green peas 🫛 as a dessert but this one blew my mind ! The service was beyond amazing, lead by the sommelier Olivier who is very passionate about his work. I would definitely go back there and recommend this restaurant to anyone.
