"That may have been the best meal I have ever had" was how my very hard to please guest described the food. He had the lamb inner filet and I had the Uruguay Oxfilé and couldn't agree more. The meat was cooked and seasoned perfectly with fresh rhyme and seasalt of ideal crunchy consistency.

The recommended wine was excellent and I really appreciate the laid back, simple but elegant atmosphere. I look forward to coming back to explore the interesting menu, which appears to be a creative, subtle combination of classics and fusion of Middle Eastern, Latin American, and European flavors.

Even the roasted potatoes were special.

Very good prices for the high quality of ingredients, preparation, and presentation.

I've eaten at more expensive places in Gothenburg that don't come close to this quality.

This is the best place to eat!
Would highly recommend if you love lamb. I ordered the lamb filet (tenderloin) and IT WAS SOOOO GOOD! It was melting on  my tongue, and it makes you appreciate every bite. And for the price (200kr) with sides and sauces, it is very cheap. The people there are really nice and they wanna give you a good experience
Overall, go try out their food - you won’t regret it!:))

Överträffade verkligen våra förväntningar. Jag var där med en vän, och vi blev båda otroligt imponerade! Stämningen var varm och inbjudande, och servicen var på topp – personalen var både vänliga och uppmärksamma.

Maten? Helt gudomlig! Portionerna var generösa, vilket var en trevlig överraskning, och varje tugga var en njutning.

Kan varmt rekommendera Bistro 1965 till alla som söker en riktigt härlig matupplevelse. Vi ser redan fram emot vårt nästa besök!

Really exceeded our expectations. I was there with a friend, and we were both incredibly impressed! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was top notch – the staff were both friendly and attentive.

The food? Absolutely divine! The portions were generous, which was a pleasant surprise, and every bite was a treat.

Jag och min fru besökte Bistro 1965 och blev så imponerade! Maten höll högsta klass och serverades med omsorg av den trevliga personalen. Mysig miljö, god stämning och riktigt prisvärt ett ställe vi varmt rekommenderar!

My wife and I visited the Bistro in 1965 and were so impressed! The food was top class and served with care by the friendly staff. Cozy environment, good atmosphere and really affordable, a place we highly recommend!

Nyöppnat ställe som alla väntat på länge! Uteserveringen har GULDLÄGE när det är varmt och soligt. Resonabla priser på dryck och maten var jättegod!

Det är som sagt nyöppnat och personalen verkar inte så rutinerade. Vinet jag beställde glömdes helt bort. De kom med ölen och colan till de andra i sällskapet, men reagerade inte på att jag satt utan.
Tallrikarna kunde varit uppvärmda så att köttet inte kallnat så fort.

Newly opened place that everyone has been waiting for a long time! The outdoor seating has GOLD MODE when it is warm and sunny. Reasonable prices for drinks and the food was great!

As I said, it's newly opened and the staff doesn't seem very experienced. The wine I ordered was completely forgotten. They brought the beer and coke to the others in the party, but did not react to me sitting without it.
The plates could have been heated so that the meat did not cool down so quickly.
