An absolutely astounding experience from start to finish,leaving your tastebuds with a deeper desire for more. I went for the tasting menu with wine pairings.

Without recounting each dish, I can state that every plate offers a touch of something unique, surprising or unexpected. The plates are prepared with a high degree of refinement.

One of the details which stood out to me was how much the true flavours of the vegetables were honoured—not just the proteins. I've never tasted such potent flavours while mainting the delicateness of the produce. In true Italian fashion, it was all about showing off the quality of the produce.

The sommelier chose excellent wines— perfect accompaniments and well-versed in the choices. Like the dishes, each brought a little surprise, an unexpectedness, or a touch of difference to the palate. I even asked for an amaro at the end, and let the choice to him. At that point he understood what I was looking for. Fantastic.

The open kitchen is a pure pleasure to see. You can sit with the chefs in view on one side, and a beautiful panaroma of Firenze on the other. Get a table before sundown, see the sunset, then the lights at night.

One final detail, which for me was great to see. The kitchen itself is diverse —en, women and different cultures collaborating on their creations. Quite a sight in a cuisine culture which is as traditionalist as Italy's.

A must-visit if you are in the area, and worth the trip outside Firenze for the beautiful views alone.

This was an amazing experience, from the greeting to the goodbye. Having dined at many Michelin restaurants I have to say that Serrae was one of the best. Quite possibly one of the 3 best dinners I have ever had. The staff were spectacular and the food was sublime. This is a “must dine” upon every return to Florence.

My wife and I had the most beautiful meal at RVF. It was our favourite meal in Italy!

We ordered the seven-course dinner menu with a bottle of wine suggested by the sommelier. The amuse-bouche was super pretty and delicate, as well as delicious! One of the meal highlights was a foamy cream that was made of white chocolate, the cutest little potato chips, finished with some potato skins and truffle. There were other ingredients but I don't remember them all. Honestly, the thing was crazy to eat. Each course was very intentional and by the end we were so full! Other courses that we enjoyed were the oyster, the venison, and the yoghurt dessert.

The service was perfect! The most important aspect of the service was how accessible they made the whole dining experience. It was very non-pretentious, which was refreshing. There was no sense of having or pressure to eat one way or another with this wine or that. But the service was still very polished. It was a great balance. The sous-chef, Olga, came out to greet us at the end which was cute.

The restaurant itself is housed in a beautiful hotel on a hill overlooking Florence. I wish my wife and I had time to dine during the lunch service, as I imagine the view would be much better in the day.

Last thing: we loved the tableware. We felt like it was a key part of the meal, which was unexpected. For our desserts, they switched our water glasses with these amazing little pieces from a glassware design company in Milan.

Exceptional! It’s not often you eat out and are surprised by culinary creations, Chef Antonello Sardi achieved that repeatedly on my experience.

The food is exceptional, the variety is exceptional.

This is complimented by incredible service from all staff who are both attentive and personable throughout.

And most of all, there is a care for customers that’s visit in they way they greet, service and prepare your experience. It’s a pleasure and well worth the visit!
