I absolutely fell in love with the gardens! They’re incredibly charming, and you’ll find it hard to leave once you’re there. Gorgeous viewpoints of Amalfi Coast. It’s the perfect place to unwind—ideal for a peaceful retreat or a romantic getaway. If you love nature and tranquility, this is definitely the place to be. I visited for a day trip and wished I could stay longer or stayed at the hotel. If you go, be sure to enjoy a coffee or lunch at the restaurant and take in the stunning views while you dine.

We stayed here for a night and loved it. It felt like a real life palace. Our superior room with garden view was large, comfortable and beautifully decorated.
The restaurant, pool area and gardens are stunning as well. The whole property is like a fairytale. The overall service is very good, however there were a few little things like extra charges for additional bags on top of 2, which I’ve stayed in many 5 stars around the world and have never seen, especially at the price we paid to stay here. We also weren’t told of us this charge as it was a last minute booking however we had numerous conversations arranging the porter to pick up our bags. It would’ve been nice for this to have been mentioned as we brought additional bags we could’ve left behind. I also asked for a quiet area to take an important last minute call and was only given an open area right next to the reception which didn’t work as there was too much noise. I understood they said they didn’t have anywhere else, but then that night I discovered there were two libraries on the first floor, which although are open to hotel guests, are much quieter and more private than near the reception, which would’ve have been better but it wasn’t mentioned to me that these were available. Despite all this, Barbara at the front desk was a star in bringing me to our room before our check in was completed so I can take it from there. The staff at breakfast were superb. We overall loved our stay and would return.

The outside of the villa is beautiful, as are the gardens. The interior is in desperate need of a renovation, with bathrooms which have not been updated since the 90s/00s.

Worst of all was the staff, I honestly can even begin to explain how rude they were.

We were there for a destination wedding and when we arrived they informed us they did not have any irons in the room, but they could steam the clothes for us, makes sense as it’s a big wedding venue, so we accepted. When they arrived they were totally ruined, and it turns out we then had to pay for the steaming of our suits which was over 100€. When we complained about the steaming, because they had messed up the lapels, and stained the suits after re- steaming them 4 times… the manager, and cleaning staff insisted that we were lying and that it was not their fault. Luckily we had a picture to prove that they had stained it in the 15 min they had the suits, they then insisted we were still lying.

I have never been shouted out, and accused like that by staff and management in any hotel establishment. Considering the rooms are 1,000€ a night, it’s totally unacceptable.

Even after all that they insisted we paid for the steaming, which made us 1h late to the rehearsal dinner, and when we refused, the manager condescendingly said “everyone else paid for their extras”… well if you had not messed it up 4 times, maybe we would have been happy to pay.

They also have no road access, so they pick your bags up in a little buggy in the town, and you walk the way, however they then charge for anything over 1 bag per person, like a backpack.

They honestly are cheap, money hungry shameful staff, who are ruining a beautiful hotel. It’s a shame, but those sorts of things are due to bad management.

Don’t waste your money!

This villa made sense of my walk in the Amalfi Coast. The road is a bit confusing until you get there, the navigation kept us confused as well as the local people about its location. There is a €10 entrance fee to see the gardens, then the most beautiful view follows - the vast blue sea and the beautifully manicured gardens. An impressive experience.

Add Ravello to your bucket list and go here! Go here to walk the garden and gorgeous grounds! I didn’t stay here #regrets but have never seen a real life place as if it was taken from the page of a story book. This looks like the perfect destination wedding back drop for your photos. I’m trying to convince someone to get married here so I have a great excuse to return! And I’m saying this was still gorgeous and romantic despite the weather being on a terrible gray, rainy day when we went in April. I’m dying to go back and see the Villa in the summer sunshine!
