Great surprise! Luckily a reservation for 2 people dropped and we could get a table. That was the best meal in Vienna so far. Schnitzel was delicious, well seasoned, and the salad that came together was very tasty. The Roast Sirloin was also good, especially the sauce. Service was super friendly and made us feel home.

Very nice place for lunch and dinner. Classic Austrian restaurant with a twist. Everything we had was tasty. Amazing wine list with lots of options at very good prices. Would definitely recommend the goulash.

Ordered the chicken livers, smoked bacon with horseradish and pickles, black pudding and pork rind filled dumplings with sauerkraut - a more modern take on traditional dishes however full of flavour and wonderfully moreish! Would recommend! Perfect moody vibes for a date night also :) The staff accommodated us despite having no reservation.

My experience at Glacis Beisl was disappointing and felt like a tourist trap in the making. Despite having a reservation, I was placed in the middle section simply because I was a tourist. The menu was presented hastily, and I had to ask for the wine list twice. As a result, I couldn't order a bottle of wine since the first course had already arrived. I know the restaurant is very en-vogue as being name checked by topjaw and that is  delicious, but hey this is a real review not a publicity stunt.

The (junior) waiter carelessly plopped the soup onto the table, causing it to spill from the bowl. The main course was served with the same lack of attention. It's a shame because the service didn't do justice to the refined food. The wine list featured some nice Austrian and Italian wines, but the experience was overshadowed by the poor service.

When it came time to pay, the waiter hinted strongly for a tip, making the experience even more unpleasant. It felt like an attempt to normalize American tipping practices. We are in Vienna. In short, the service at Glacis Beisl left much to be desired, despite the quality of the food.

Very nice place, but we had the table reserved at 20.00 but had to wait cca 20min on it (we were told that the previous guests were just leaving). The food was good and the service was nice.
