Craving some solid Malay-Singaporean cuisine? This spot came highly recommended, and it didn’t disappoint. They’ve tweaked things a bit—changed the name and now only offer set menus. Out of the options, only two dishes were truly authentic Malay/Singaporean, but wow, they absolutely nailed it. Forget the hype around some famous spots—these dishes were packed with bold, authentic flavors that are hard to find in Hong Kong. It’s a shame the old menu isn’t around anymore; sampling more of those authentic dishes would’ve been a treat.

Now, about those two dishes. The Bak Kut Teh was something else—rich and peppery with incredibly tender meat that practically fell apart. The highlight? A whole bulb of garlic, slow-cooked to perfection, melting in your mouth with every bite. The other dish was a fried fish curry, and it was just as impressive. The curry sauce was thick, creamy, slightly tangy, and had just the right touch of spice. The fish? Crispy on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth soft on the inside.

The place is cozy with limited seating, and they won’t seat you until everyone in your group has arrived. But the service? Warm, friendly, and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit!

Super authentic Singapore food. The curry chicken tastes exactly the same as if they are served at the west coast hawker centre in Singapore, even using the same number of pieces of chicken and potatoes. The ambience is absolutely cute and love their table mat design. The founder was lovely and shared the story behind this establishment and how it all got started from the first place.

Since the original resto we wanna visit was full, my friend and I visited this nearby resto for dinner.

Both of us ordered the Smooth Chicken Rice, which while included not only chicken, but also duck tongues. The special sauce made by the resto added some sweetness to the ingredients. However, the sauce was quite overwhelming, and the chicken was not as smooth as it was during my last visit.

The interior of the restaurant was lovely, with hand-drawn decorations. Even their table mat was hand-drawn, which added a sense of sincerity.

I come here because i saw from magazine. I has high expectation as i saw many people queuing up during weekdays. On weekend, i finally tried and it is really not that special. As there is no pig supply in HK this week, the ribs are not available. I ordered curry chicken and the taste is just normal. No surprise. We also order a Nasi lakma and taste like Toast Box only. Portion is super small. I will not go again.

Love the place.  The waiters are patient to explain to you the differences in various dishes although they are extremely busy. The food is yum. Would definitely come back again. The decor is fun and original.
