Loved this little hidden gem and if we lived here, we’d be regulars for sure.

we got:
⭐️ pasta vongole with parma and pistachio (winter special)
- (baked) parpadelle with duck
- winter fennel citrus salad
⭐️ honey ricotta focaccia
⭐️ tiramisu

The pasta vongole was better than any of the pastas I had in Italy. I was blown away! All the pasta is perfectly ✨al dente✨ and the focaccia was just fantastic with the honey ricotta. Glad I gave into my sweet tooth and got the tiramisu — it was incredible and I’d come back just for that.

For those curious, you order at the front (either take out or dine in) and take a number. You can choose a seat inside which is lively and bustling or their outdoor space with has overhead space heaters which helped us stay alive in january. Service was great also!

cook on the pasta is excellent (their “al dente” themed merch is well-deserved) but the flavors are underwhelming and a bit flat, especially for the price point. the tortelli was also rolled a bit too thick for personal preference, but the texture of the chiusoni was perfect. tiramisu is a great execution of a classic version

Tortello provides a fantastic and more traditional (in the best way) taste of Italy that shines through the experience and every bite.

Enjoyed the duck pappardelle, focaccia with ricotta and honey, beef ragu, vino di la casa, and tiramisu.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a cozy atmosphere. The chef was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about pasta, sharing fascinating stories and tips throughout the class. The banter and fun kept us engaged and entertained the entire time.
We learned how to make beautiful ribbon pasta and some easy, fun shapes that we can't wait to try at home. But it wasn't just about the techniques; we also gained a deeper understanding of the history and science behind the best pasta making.
If you're looking for a unique and memorable date night idea, I highly recommend this pasta-making class at Tortello. It's the perfect blend of fun, learning, and delicious food. We can't wait to go back and try another class!

Everything was fantastic. The only downsides are it's a bit pricey in terms of portions and ingredients compared to nearby restaurants, and it gets crowded over the weekend and dinner time. They don't take reservations.
