+ pretty good attention (service)

- lunch is way overpriced for the level (80 EUR). Many other restaurants in the 1* Michelin range are available for almost half the price at same standard of service.
16 EUR for a glass of juice (home made of course), is obscene
- restrooms are unexpectedly below par, surprising for a gourmet venue

Wow, wow, wow! Amazing place where food becomes the finest art. The crew, the chef, the atmosphere make you forget you are dining in one of the best places in culinary Belgium. (And the rest of the world if you ask me).

Perhaps our best fine dining experience ever! The personnel saw everything that needed some attention and acted accordingly. Professional, friendly and sometimes humourous and not stuck up. Real people like ourselves, who evidently loved and enjoyed their work. The sommelier knew his business well and apparently changed the paired wines if he knew/heard that his clients had other taste preferences. The six wines he brought for the various dishes were very pleasing and more than once were a surprisingly refreshing taste from what we accustomed to. A second serving was also offered for each of the six wines, not like some restaurants were you feel the wine is rationed to the minimum. The eight course menu and appetisers was... probably the best I've eaten. We've been to other star restaurants were the food and tastes were excellent, but then it was difficult/impossible to recognise what you were actually eating. This was not so in Sir Kwinten. The description on the menu was clarified by the personeel as they served it, and after that you could visually recogise what the ingredients were. All in all, a wonderful experience.
