Food was decent but not as good as I had hoped. Nice place with friendly service but just way too slow! Arrived with a group at 6:30pm and finished at 11:3pm. That is 5 hours during a weekday. We were all

Our lunch at August wine bar was even better than we expected. Service is very friendly, the place feels young and stylish and the food is amazing. Starting with a selection of multiple  amuse bouche, we immediately enjoyed the creative dishes of the chef. All courses were delicious and the wine pairing was also spot on. Sometimes the waiting time between dishes was on the longer side, but that isn't a real issue if everything else is this good. Highly recommended!

Upon entrance we where warmly welcomed by the staff. After being seated each staff had its role and carried it out with passion. They had plenty of information about the wines and dishes served. We had a great evening and will be back in the future!

Ideal restaurant for celebrating special occasions or to have a good lunch. There is a wine shop next door is owned by the same owner, which allows for a wide wine offering in the restaurant. A 'need to visit' if  you live in the neighborhood.
The staff was rather young, though not inexperienced.

Food was excellent. Unfortunately the service was not good, especially considering the price we paid for the menu... e.g. receiving refill of water only after several times asking, sometimes no staff in sight. There was an event going on in the back, so assume that staff was focusing on the event more than the restaurant.

Also, despite being a winebar, we only received 2 wines for a menu of 4 courses with wine pairing (paid in advance).. would have been an extra 7 EUR per glass for the 2 other courses.
