Una locanda tranquilla, con un menù interessante e un servizio serio ma simpatico. Abbiamo provato il salmerino affumicato con salse alla barbabietola e al rafano e il trancio di storione con zafferano. Tutto preparato senza tanti fronzoli ma con ingredienti che ci sono sembrati di alta qualità. Alla fina una sublime torta di mele, fragrante e calda, davvero notevole (peccato non averla fotografata, l'abbiamo divorata in pochi secondi). I prezzi non sono proprio economici ma tutto sommato onesti in rapporto al servizio.

A quiet inn, with an interesting menu and serious but friendly service. We tried the smoked char with beetroot and horseradish sauces and the sturgeon steak with saffron. All prepared without many frills but with ingredients that seemed to us to be of high quality. In the end a sublime apple pie, fragrant and warm, truly remarkable (it's a shame we didn't photograph it, we devoured it in a few seconds). The prices are not exactly cheap but all in all honest in relation to the service.

Prima volta Da Giacomo e sicuramente non l'ultima.
Per San Valentino ci siamo fatti coccolare dalla cucina di questo ristorante, presente anche sulla Guida Michelin @michelinguide .
Giacomo è stato davvero molto simpatico, gentile e disponibile nel consigliarci cosa consumare e ci ha saputo intrattenere per tutta la serata.
Il posticino è piccolo ma accogliente, pulito e ordinato.
La cucina è a vista, quindi dalla sala si riesce ad intravedere lo chef ai fornelli.
La mise en place è pulita, semplice e tradizionale.
In 2 abbiamo deciso di prendere:
🍴2 sformatini di zucca con fonduta di salva Cremasco, molto saporiti, morbidi e delicati;
🍴Risotto mantecato con grana e burro, con aggiunta di scaglie di tartufo nero di Norcia pregiato, era delizioso!!!!! Buonissimo il tartufo;
🍴Tortelli al grano antico, farina di castagne e cacao, ripieni di zucca e amaretti, su burro colato e salvia li ho trovati molto delicato e saporito. Il sapore dell'amaretto non prevaleva per niente e rendeva il piatto molto appetibile.
Per terminare il vino, abbiamo deciso di fare un piccolo assaggio dei formaggi locali, tutti molto buoni.
Dolci:
-Torta di mele tiepida e gelato alla crema, molto buona e soprattutto particolare. È la prima volta che assaggio una torta di mele fatta così;
-Tiramisù al pistacchio di Bronte non mi è piaciuto in quanto, il colore della crema al mascarpone era di un verde acceso, che solitamente il pistacchio non ha, e il sapore di pistacchio non persisteva affatto.
Carta dei vini molto ricca e prezzi in linea.
🍷Abbiamo bevuto un Barolo del 2015 di Cascina Fontana inebriante per il palato, qualcosa di davvero molto speciale. Consigli assolutamente si degustare questa Cantina!
Prezzi leggermente sopra la media, in 2 persone abbiamo speso 190€ ma siamo rimasti davvero molto contenti.
Ritorneremo senz'altro.

First time at Da Giacomo and definitely not the last.
For Valentine's Day we were pampered by the cuisine of this restaurant, also present in the Michelin Guide @michelinguide.
Giacomo was really very nice, kind and helpful in advising us on what to consume and was able to entertain us throughout the evening.
The place is small but welcoming, clean and tidy.
The kitchen is open, so from the room you can glimpse the chef at the stove.
The mise en place is clean, simple and traditional.
2 of us decided to take:
🍴2 pumpkin flans with Cremasco salva fondue, very tasty, soft and delicate;
🍴Risotto creamed with parmesan and butter, with the addition of fine Norcia black truffle flakes, it was delicious!!!!! The truffle is delicious;
🍴 Tortelli with ancient wheat, chestnut flour and cocoa, filled with pumpkin and amaretti, on melted butter and sage I found them very delicate and tasty. The flavor of the amaretto did not prevail at all and made the dish very palatable.
To finish the wine, we decided to have a small tasting of the local cheeses, all very good.
Sweets:
-Warm apple pie and cream ice cream, very good and above all particular. It's the first time I've tasted an apple pie made like this;
-I didn't like the Bronte pistachio tiramisu because the color of the mascarpone cream was bright green, which pistachios don't usually have, and the pistachio flavor didn't persist at all.
Very rich wine list and prices in line.
🍷We drank a 2015 Barolo from Cascina Fontana that was intoxicating for the palate, something truly very special. I absolutely recommend tasting this winery!
Prices slightly above average, for 2 people we spent €190 but we were really very happy.
We will definitely return.
