Vanilla Sky Rooftop Bar on floor 35 was a great experience! The service was outstanding—everyone was incredibly polite and friendly, making us feel very welcome. It’s definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience with breathtaking views of Bangkok. The mocktails were really nice, and there was a DJ playing great music, which added to the atmosphere. However, due to the pollution, we couldn’t really see the nightfall as clearly as we had hoped. Also, if you plan to eat and drink, be prepared for high prices. Overall, a fantastic place for a special occasion, but keep the costs in mind!

I’ve been to Vanilla Sky a few times before and thought it’d be a good spot to take in the view again for my birthday. Besides the drinks, what really makes this place stand out is the view—you get a great perspective of Klong Toey area and beyond.

We mainly came for the scenery, so we just grabbed a few beers, kicked back, and enjoyed the vibe. The staff were friendly, and the music fit the atmosphere nicely.

Getting here is easy—just a short 3-minute walk from the BTS, or if you’re driving, there’s parking at the hotel. One thing to note: you’ll have to climb a few sets of stairs to reach the rooftop, so keep that in mind.

If you’re looking for a good sunset spot, this is definitely one of the better ones, as you can probably tell from my photos!
