The “Gourmand” designation is not misleading or exaggerated in any way. And neither is the “Bistro” designation. The dishes were beautiful and delicious and they arrived quickly.

Compared to a formal restaurant with 1 Michelin star for example, we felt that this bistro did not spare any expense on key ingredients such as the fish and beef or on selecting the freshest salad leafs. The dishes had their own signature (omg the bell pepper stuffed with aubergine!), worked great in both texture and taste and were enhanced rather than dominated by a couple of sauces, unlike the case in so many formal Michelin restaurants.

We were served by a very efficient and attentive server with a smile (the monsieur with curly hair). His level of personalization made us feel much more welcome and simply more at ease than an uniformed army of waiters who you have to chase down for a bottle of wine before your food gets cold. Here, the wine was the second thing on the table after water.

The total came to just under a century for two entrees, two main courses and one glass of wine. But the best bonus was being done within an hour - the first course arrived almost immediately. This saved us time to explore more of Paris, which is the most important reason for this trip. By the way, the street is especially romantic on a rainy night.

Really excellent food and service. Menu was interesting but not wild, really beautiful food, creative and delicious. Wonderful service. Fun and not-too-fancy atmosphere. One of our best meals.

Warm, welcoming atmosphere. Kind, attentive staff. Food quality and composition of courses were without equal and portion sizes were perfect. Tremendous experience overall, would recommend.

Creative chefs making delicious food utilizing different fresh vegetables and exiciting meat. They have carefully chosen the ingredients and matched them up succesfully! Very tastefull tasting menu and delicious wine. The staff was friendly and cared about making a great experience. Thank you!
