Best view observation deck in Paris. You come up to the 56th floor to buy tickets (23 euros per person, credit cards accepted) and explore an indoor 360 degree view.

Note that the restaurant takes up a portion of this floor, facing the city, but you can still see pretty much in every direction from this indoor observation floor.

After you have spent a bit of time there, there is a door to a stairwell that takes you up to flights of stairs to the rooftop and an open air observation deck with a literal 360° view of the entire city and all directions.

I visited during the day, but I'm sure that the view is equally stunning and remarkable at night, or at sunset with all of the city lights. But if you're trying to identify landmarks, it's definitely easier to do during the day.

It absolutely exceeded my expectations! Everything is excellently organized – from entering the tower, staying there, to descending. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The prices of food and drinks are reasonable, and you can enjoy coffee, tea, or juice, have something sweet or savory if you're hungry or just want to relax while taking in the stunning view of the City of Light and the impressive Eiffel Tower, clearly visible from the top of the building. I purchased tickets in advance, but there wasn't too much of a crowd; still, it's better to have them in your pocket – it’s safer that way. We were lucky to have a beautiful sunny day in December, so the view of Paris was clear, and the city bathed in sunlight. If you get such an opportunity, don't miss Montparnasse Tower!

Very fun visit. Third tallest building in Paris. Beautiful views. I would say this is for people who have been to Paris before and are looking for something different to do. Definitely make your way to the very top and also watch the little video of time travel. It’s actually pretty cool. We did the couples experience and got two glasses of champagne.
Pro tip: Find out what time sunset is and schedule your visit 30 minutes before.
Pro Tip 2: Do the ❤️Paris photo op on the top level one at a time. Two people makes it painful :)
