I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for good food that isn’t overwhelming for all family members. We initially considered taking our family to a fine dining restaurant for a special occasion but realized that while we enjoy long multi-course meals, it might not be as enjoyable for everyone. This place was perfect—a beautiful setting with a great view, excellent food, and a 3-4 course meal that was satisfying without being too much. Everyone in our group loved it.

My score of 4 stars shouldn’t be seen as a reflection of the food which was outstanding. The food is 5*, even when being compared to other one Michelin star restaurants.

Theres a good selection of offerings too. Unusually for such a place one can order from the al la carte menu or plump for a 5 or 9 course taster menu. We went for the 5 courses with optional cheese (which you mustn’t miss)

The setting is probably the best I have ever experiences. We sat outside and over looked the majestic walls of St Paul’s. It’s worth visiting just for the view alone.

Service was as one would expect of a Michelin restaurant. All the food arrives at the same time and is lovingly described by your allocated waiter. The sommelier however wasn’t as good as he should be. I was given good advice, and was pleased with the wine. I plumped for a claret priced at about €125. It was opened but I wasn’t offered the option to taste it, and I had to pour my own wine all night. Maybe he was short staffed, or maybe I hadn’t spent enough. Either way, it was enough to make the overall score 4 not 5

Top notch service and a fantastic view. Unfortunately the food did not quite reach all the way for five stars. It was great food but I expect a bit more from a starred restaurant.

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. Such a wonderful experience from start to finish—beautiful views from the restaurant of Saint Paul de Vence, perfect service and incredibly delicious food. Everything was memorable. We made the mistake of snacking a lot in the afternoon prior to dinner, and so weren’t exactly hungry when we got there and so took the shorter 5 course. We were a group of 6 and they were accommodating about us taking different courses, could even swap out at the last minute a lamb course that I couldn’t have for one of my own choice from the a la carte options.

Lobster was truly outstanding—sweet and juicy and flavorful; citrus dressing and berries that brightened the flavors, not to mention exquisite plating. Cepes mushrooms risotto was incredible — meaty fragrant morsels of mushrooms in some heavenly sauce. Absolutely devoured it despite arriving half full. My zucchini flower stuffed with mushrooms and truffles was insane—huge chunks of black truffle discovered within the flower. Overall for the experience it was also so affordable compared to other fine dining places. There was a whole bunch of desserts as well, they were never ending! We were so full but the bread was so good and so we stayed till late, trying to savor all the last bits.

We had such a wonderful time, thank you! Would love to visit again.

Everything was amazing except for the bathroom which although it looked great was falling apartment. I had to keep the door to the toilet closed with my foot because it wouldn’t latch or lock. Then, the toilet paper roll holder was loose and so the paper roll would keep falling down on the floor. Then, when I went to wash my hands, the pull rod for the faucet on the left was detached and came right out when I pulled on it! Lastly, when I finished washing my hands, the sensor on the water faucet would not stop running the water…
