I love dining like this. And a lot of times I have the feeling I want to talk about how I liked the one dish more than the other, or the one wine as better pairing then the other. After this evening I have only one word in my heart and my head. Perfect. It was a perfect experience from the stunning warm welcome to the incredible food art masterpieces, fr the beautiful table decoration to the cosy very caring but still discrete service. Perfect. We chose Soil restaurant for our Christmas dinner in Athens, and it was an unforgettable experience. The setting is remarkable, housed in a beautifully restored, old-style Athenian house that adds a unique charm to the concept. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere felt warm and inviting.

Upon entering, we had the opportunity to meet the chef and kitchen staff, which added a personal touch to the dining experience. The food was exceptional, with outstanding quality and flavors that reflected the restaurant's Michelin status. The staff were kind, professional, and attentive throughout the evening.

Soil is a fantastic choice for anyone seeking a memorable fine-dining experience in this vibrant capital.

Yesterday we were very surprised by the refinement and taste of all Soil's dishes.  We eat in Michelin-rated restaurants all over the world, but Soil's chef Mr. Mantis and his team absolutely surprised us. Every dish was so balanced and beautifully prepared down to the smallest detail. The flavor combinations were excellent with every course. What I f.e. liked was that the light acidity in various dishes was sometimes surprising but also a perfect match. The red shrimps were our favorite! But each dish was extremely tasteful!
The choice of white wine advised by the sommelier was top! It was a surprising taste (we don’t know Greek wine very well) and it matched with every course, including the meat. One small thing, the acoustics. We could not always hear the hostess properly. But certainly all compliments to her!  She was very friendly, explained each dish thoroughly, was very attentive and with a measured sense of humor. It was really nice to have her around!
We would not be surprised if Soil quickly receives a second Michelin star. We really enjoyed it and if it would be possible for us, we would love  to come back regularly.

I highly recommend this place for a truly unique dining experience, featuring the best combinations of ingredients and herbs. Each dish showcases the chef’s passion and the dedication of the entire culinary team. Having dined at many Michelin-starred restaurants, I can confidently say this one stands out. We will be back!

We had a super unique experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and breathtaking. They had a small book on all the herbs they use so we could look it up while eating. Every dish was presented in its own way and all the dishes came perfectly timed after each other. At the end there were small desserts (but many) and they also served homemade chocolate. We were absolutely full when we finished our dessert.
There was citrus trees in the garden so it smelled really nice. The servers were polite and welcoming. We booked the table one day in advance and the kitchen made small changes for me as I have allergies. The atmosphere was very chill and relaxing (we didn’t find this kind of laid back vibe anywhere in Athens). So we absolutely loved this place and I even think it’s in our top 10 restaurant we have ever eaten at.
