Amazing meal. Every dish was tasty, prepared in an attractive but unpretentious way, with excellent service. I’d eat here every week if I didn’t live half a world away.

Duck, lamb, pork, all perfectly cooked, paired with sauces that enhanced the meat. Wines recommended were great. The whole meal was fantastic. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing experience dining here. The tasting menu includes some classic Hungarian dishes eleveted to a very sophisticated level. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the food and wine options. Although there isn't a vegetarian option for the tasting menu, the staff had no issues in swapping out meat for vegetarian options.

We had an amazing experience in this hidden gem! We tried the lunch menu. First of all, the prices are ridiculously low. Main dish costs around ~$10 which is crazy for such dishes. We shared 4 dishes and a glass of wine. Everything was super tasty and fresh. The shrimp pasta was amazing, as well as the gnocchi with meat. The duck lag was very good as well. Above all, the lady (owner of the place?) was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. We’ll definitely come back in our next trip to Budapest!

Bit disappointed here. The food was good 6,5/10, but the service was below par. Butterknife for the bread but no butter, forgot to provide cutlery, did not understand difference between vegan and vegetarian, did not understand the ask for a paired wine selection. Vegetarian selection was nice and the wine selection was good as well. The polenta was way too greasy/oily to my taste.

BEST MEAL IN BUDAPEST!!

We went for lunch and had their specials. Strawberry soup, venison and dumplings, and a berry and pastries dessert. Beautifully paired with Hungarian wine that was recommended by the attentive server. Overall made my day.
