An elegant vibe with reasonable prices. The food was good, we love a selection of flavors outside of the typical Roman tastes. We started with beef tartar which was great, truffle pasta, anchovy pasta, and octopus, finished with tiramisu. Everything was elevated and sensible portions. Friendly service. Good mix of tourists and locals, everyone spoke English and menu is in English. I recommend and would eat here again.

Located a 5 mins walk from Barberini metro stop. There is outdoor seating and indoors. As it was mid October and it was a chilly night, we sat indoors , first table next to the door.

The waitering staff was bizzare- one was apologetic about everything whilst the other was confrontational when we were ordering dishes. We ordered a primi and a main to share. No law against that!

The amouse complementary was very nice. Mouth bite.

The starters of sea bass ceviche  was excellent with the interesting biscuit holding it in.

The aubergine pamagiana was very good- battered on the outside , tasted great.

The carbonara was somewhat disappointing, over salty, the sauce was ok and the pasta to go with it wasn’t to our liking.

The seconding the octopus grill was very good. Tasted nice and crispy .

The desert of the lemon with meringue was also excellent with a fantastic base.

The dining would have been almost perfect if it was not for the carbonara and odd waitering staff!

Got the tasting menu here. The food was above average but certain dishes were a bit salty for my liking. I’m not a huge fan of truffle, and it featured in a few of the dishes. Overall very good and the service was great. Price point is fine for what it is. The place is open later than other restaurants around the area so that is another plus.

Stumbled upon this restaurant by chance one evening in Rome and what a great find. Great location very close to the Spanish steps. Not your typical tourist trap restaurant which is a plus. Wine recommendations were great and the food was very tasty. Highly recommend and very attentive staff.
