Amazing day at Tonnara
We arrived at 1030am and got to skip the queue as we bought tickets online. Had our pick of the seats. There is food and drink on site, yummy salads and alcohol / non alcohol options. We stayed the whole day until it closed at 7PM. Recommend planning in advance and buying tickets 2 weeks before the day you want to go. However they do have lots of space if you are willing to line up and stand in the queue.

Another gem! Very touristic so I wouldnt recommend to visit it on the weekend as the experience could be different. The setting, with the old tonnara (tuna fishing business), the blue waters, the rocks… amazing! One of the beauties nature has to offer us. You can buy food inside although just basic paninis and entrance to be paid.
Nice tour of the tonnara given for free once you are inside the complex to discover more about the place and the fishing techniques used some time  ago  for tuna!

Perfect for couples and friend groups. You have to pay to get in and I'd recommend going in the morning and making a day of it. Food and drinks down there.

Went there with online tickets and skipped the line early in the morning.
The place is extremely beautiful. One of our favorite swimming spots in Sicilia. There is a small bar there for soft/alcoholic beverages, as well as some average pizza slices.

The bad things about here are:
-that small bar is very expensive, and they have a rude attitude.
-they tried to sell us small water instead of a big (and of course cost friendly) one. They simply said they don’t have any big water but they took them out after small water finishes..
-they don’t allow you to take any pictures during museum visit. You can take Mona Lisa’s picture but can not do that here.
-they say there are not a beach business, and don’t provide any shower facilities, but there are hundreds of sun beds on beach.

No words to describe how beautiful and amazing this place is! The view, the colour of water is awesome!
Better buy tickets in advance on the website.

Au fil des siècles, cette installation est devenue un centre vital pour la pêche, utilisant la méthode traditionnelle 'mattanza' pour capturer le thon, une technique qui a été perfectionnée au fil du temps et qui reste emblématique de la culture sicilienne.

Une plongée dans le temps, de la fondation de la Tonnara à son rôle crucial dans l'économie locale, révélant une tradition de pêche à la thon qui remonte au XIIIe siècle.

En 2000, un changement significatif a été opéré lorsque le site a été transformé en musée et hôtel boutique, permettant aux visiteurs de découvrir l'histoire et la culture de cette tradition séculaire tout en profitant d'une expérience unique au cœur de la Sicile.
