My visit included being part of the church community and ceremony. It was a great experience. As an English speaker, they gave me a brochure that guided me through the process. I was welcome to the communion too. Great people and amazing church experience. The facade of church is Italian baroque, interior is french gothic style. Mesmerizing ❤️

Well I was sceptical about St George slaying the Dragon until I saw the definitive proof in the sculpture of the incident in Stockholm’s medieval Cathedral. A beautiful rich in history building dating from 1279. It is home to other unique objects including the legendary Vädersoltavlan (1535). and Lena Lervik’s sculpture ”Joseph and Mary” (2002).

I was here at the end of program.
The entrance fee is 70SEK.
On the outside the church impresses by its size. On the inside is very spectacular. The gigantic paintings, the statue of saint George and the construction itself left me
speechless.

I visited this cathedral during Christmas season. There was a Christmas market set up just outside, and it was a great (although crowded!) time.

There was also a chamber orchestra and choir Christmas concert, and it was such a lovely time.

St. Nicholas' Church is a place with a unique atmosphere, rich history and beautiful architecture. I definitely recommend visiting it!
